Attention - SCAM ALERT - Bought two bottles of wine yesterday. The elderly owner was having difficulty at the seemingly simple transaction and ended up running my credit card through twice. Upon leaving the store, I checked my credit card transactions and observed the two separate charges for $40. I returned to the store and notified the owner of the issue who stated it was a credit card company problem and not his problem. I knew that wasn't correct but nonetheless called my credit card company who agreed with me that it was the store's issue. Today, I returned to the store seeking a refund and was rebuffed by the owner. I even volunteered to take another two bottles of wine to rectify the matter. Again, he refused. Now I'm forced to file a dispute with my credit card company over this matter. All over two measly bottles of wine where this situation could have been handled promptly and professionally.
