This guy USED to be good. The quality has sadly severely declined. He was supposed to fix a leaking flex pipe. Instead of replacing and welding the damage he slapped a mound of useless glue putty around it, enough to make a pizza. Now the car won't pass inspection 2 months later as the putty falls off. He's a RIP OFF NOW! STEER CLEAR OF THIS SHAM!

Phil is great. As honest as the day is long.Fixed right the first time every time.I went to a garage one time by work and they tried to charge me for a whole new front end. I went to Phil's and he told me I needed an alignment, the difference of about $7,000. And he doesn't even do alignments. He sent me to a place that he trusted.You're doing yourself a disservice if you go somewhere else.

I have gone to Phil’s for my last two vehicle inspections. Last year I needed ABS sensors replaced and he gave me a very fair price for the repair and passed my inspection after ensuring the repair was complete. This year I went to him because of the work he did last year and it was easy. In and out in less than 30 minutes.Services: Vehicle Inspection

I would highly recommend Phil’s service station. This guy is legit and got me my car back in less than 48 hours. My 2009 Honda Civic randomly starting having engine issues. Someone had recommended Phil’s to me. I wasn’t sure where to go, as it’s hard finding an honest mechanic. Phil is an honest mechanic, He gave me a call back after I had the vehicle towed to his shop explaining the codes coming up for the engine. A day later my car was fix and drives now better than when I first got it. Really happy I went with these guys. No overcharges, nothing. Just what I exactly needed. I will be returning customer.

I'm not from NY, but was travelling and had 2 warning lights come on my VW GTI and transmission was acting crazy. Definitely not safe to drive. Called Phil, dropped off my car just before he closed, and he took a look the next morning. Very honest autoshop. Phil was great. Diagnosed the problem, and gave me more than a fair price. I'm always skeptical going to new mechanic, but this was a great experience and I highly recommend Phil for anyone in the area. Top notch.
