Lovely hike but pretty buggy as of the end of June. Lots of moths once you reach higher altitude. The views are so worth it though. And keep an eye for wildlife! Lots to see.
Dog-friendliness: Common to see people with dogs but climbing with smaller dogs here is difficult.

Dog-friendliness: There were a lot of dogs of all sizes. Our small poodle needed to ride in his pack for about half a mile but he enjoyed the time to rest a little
