I have been buying yarn, taking classes and asking for help since the store was opened. No matter how trivial my questions Jean is always ready to answer them via phone, text, email and in person. She is the best!

Wooly Minded - where to start? A quality yarn store in a little town with a charming, helpful, light-hearted, knowledgeable owner Jean! I joined a Knit-a-long in 2019 and, through group encouragement and great advice, finished my first sweater. While the pandemic certainly changed things, I will fondly recall evening project sessions at the shop, comparing progress, laughing and chatting with a small group. Jean has a nice selection of yarns for the size of the shop and is often happy to order items she may not carry in store. She went above and beyond when things were shut down doing deliveries in town right to people's doorsteps. Wooly Minded is an absolute gem!

Shop owner was a total delight. Had a nice comfortable husband chair to plop myself down in while my wife did some damage. She found several skeins to add to her ungodly mountain of a stash. So if you have also been afflicted by the yarn collecting or yarn using bugs then this store will fix what ails you.

Great store! I stopped in last month while I was in town. Jean helped me pick out some lovely sock yarns and also gave me some great pointers on knitting socks that will last. She is super helpful and friendly :) I'll be back next time I'm in Corning!

I saw this place the night before and made it my mission that I was just going to stop in and check things out but I ended up buying an armload of superwash wool! The woman working there was extremely helpful with my many questions. There were yarn brands that I was not familiar with and she encouraged me to take my time and have a look. The shop is nicely organized, bright, and welcoming. On this day, there was an amazing selection of yarns on sale out front!

Just had a private tutor session with Jean, and she is extremely helpful, friendly, and fun! I love the shop, and the lovely ladies are always ready to try to help in any way they can. I will definitely set up another session if I get stuck on a part of a pattern in don't understand!
