Massive plush rooms in an old newspaper publishing building directly across the street from the Corning museum. Complimentary $10 gift card to the restaurant and bar downstairs was a nice touch. Overnight parking is free from 5pm to 9am, free reserved parking would be a good change in the future.

Room was great - plenty of amenities, clean, comfortable. It’s located on a street with lots of restaurants and shops, and near a nice park with a view. Booking was easy and check in/check out was self-service. Would stay here again!

Great location right downtown so you can stroll to restaurant or shops with ease. The room itself was larger than we expected with a living room, couch, tv and a kitchen with amenities. A good price, nice and clean, and quiet despite being located in town. Parking is in a lot behind their building which is free overnight but you must pay during the day. We'd return!
Walkability: Everything is at your doorstep.

In the heart of downtown! Was super cute and comfy! Will definitely stay again. (The only downside is that you have to do a pretty steep flight of stairs to come and go… but the room was worth it!!)

What a wonderful time we had. The inn is right on the same street as all the shops and everything fun to do in Corning. The rooms are beautiful with many things that you wouldn't expect like a fireplace and an air conditioner. Tiffany lamps, a huge leather couch and ottoman, kitchen supplies and more and so much more. Please give this place a try. There's only four rooms but they are wonderful

We were there in March which is off season. We had a lovely room, very clean and in top condition. We were warmly greeted and told everything that we needed to know. Parking in back is easy and convenient. Corning is a beautiful town and it was great to be on the Main Street and just pop out to explore it.Rooms: We had a big room - more of a suite with a sleeping and separate sitting area. All furniture is in good condition. Bathroom is generous in size and has a good shower.Safety: Corning is very safe.Walkability: Hotel is on main street so you are steps from anything you want to do in town.

Our room was clean, quiet, and cozy. We had 2 full beds, a kitchen, a TV, a fireplace, a desk, a couch, and a full bathroom. The inn is located right on the main strip. I can't wait to visit again.
Rooms: Clean, comfy, and quiet.
Nearby activities: We were able to walk to the Rockwell Musuem and the Corning Museum from the Inn. Everything was within walking distance. Each walk was full of beautiful scenery.
Walkability: Right on the main strip.

This is a hidden gem in downtown Corning. Located above the business of Burgers and Beer. Take the stairway down and you are in the heart of the Gaffer District. Rooms are beautifully restored. Pictures are of room 3.Rooms: Nicely restored. Very comfortable.

I must admit .. when my husband and I went to check in at the bar... no lobby.. then climbed the fire escape type stairs to the room we were a little skeptical. When we open the door to our room we were FLOORED! Beautiful, spotless, decorated perfectly... it wasn't a room it was a suite, fireplace, kitchenette, couch, two double beds... just lovely!! Right down in the gaffer district with quaint shops, breweries, restaurants and the Corning museum just minutes away on foot. Very pleased.. will definitely return!!!

I stayed here during a July weekend in 2023. I recommend it. It looks like they are updating the mini-split AC units in the rooms which will be an improvement.Noise should not be a concern the room was well insulated from the bar downstairs.

Our room was wonderful, bigger than some apartments! Food at the restaurant downstairs was amazing. Parking a bit inconvenient, but not enough so to keep us from coming back. Would give more stars for room and service if we could.

Great location in traffic free downtown Corning. Large , comfortable accommodations. Beds comfortable, bathroom fine. Fireplaced living room, overlooking the main street. Only caution is a long staircase to get to the second floor(no elevator) Not a big deal unless you're older, schlepping bags up the stairs. . Good value in a great location to visit Corning and Rockwell museums and shops. I would be happy go back again.

We are from Toronto and stayed at the Gaffer last summer. i'm a bit late writing a review! We loved it there. Don't be put off by the fact there are only five rooms and it's above a restaurant. the rooms were as good or better than any Hilton and were well insulated and peaceful. the restaurant is also the front desk but again, don't be put off. the same person owns them both and runs both very well. for the cost of having to walk up one floor you get great accommodation right downtown - no need to drive anywhere.
