I am not a runner. I never have been. I went into this shop on the recommendation of a work colleague. When I arrived it was busy, but Aiden quickly came over and greeted me and let me know he'd assist me after he helped the other customers. He then sat with me and talked about what to look for and helped me try on shoes until I found the right fit. He then suggested other items that could help as a beginner, but did not try to get me to purchase items for more advanced runners that I would not need. He was very polite, professional, and personable. He even recommended a nice, easy trail to run (which was great)Will definitely be back and recommend this shop to friends. Only reason it is 4 instead of 5 stars was that it was a little pricey, but it was worth it.

Just moved back to the area and very pleased there’s a running store in Corning. I called because my wife and I were in the area for errands and I was looking to try some Topo Athletic trail shoes. Your team was educated, quick to help, and when they didn’t know an answer to my question about the shoes, they looked it up when I was trying the shoes out. I’ll be back for new shoes!!

At first thought it was a good experience considering that my experience this month was not the first one.Bought shoes here before.This time the didn't have my size in the store.Instead of buying the shoes online, I thought local business can use my business. The store employee put the order. More than a week past I didn't hear from confluence so I decide to call the store.The employee answered the phone and talk me shoes arrived 3 days ago and they left me a message.The truth is, there message was nowhere to be found.I asked why didn't they email, since they have my email and regilarly send junk mails. The lady didn't not apologize and asked me to get out.Rude as she was, I will never go back. Too bad my son already bought shoes from them while I was waiting for mines.The after sale service was mediocre.Will not recommend to order through confluence, just order yourself online.

Top notch local store. Took back a pair of shoes that gave me blisters on the first run. They gave me store credit and exchanged for a new pair.Would definitely recommend! Way more knowledge and help than you’d get at your everyday sporting goods or department shoe store.

The store manager, Heather, is amazing. Having started running several years ago as a novice, and now having become someone with several ultra marathons under my belt, I have used her and her store as a resource, not only for running supplies and equipment, but as an entrance into the running community. I have gotten great help in finding the correct shoes for my feet for both road and trail running. She has proactively asked me about my running and has introduced me to supplies I didn't know I needed but have helped me alot such as: anti chaffing materials, the best socks on the market for both warmth and comfort, the best headphones, quality hydration packs that have gotten me through several ultra, and nutrition solutions. GL they occasionally host workshops, hold group runs, and have even organized racing events.GO THERE!

The staff here are wonderful. Originally shopped at their Binghamton location but this one is much closer. They aren't pushy but they are patient.

The woman helped me and another gentleman in the store and you wouldnt have even noticed she was helping us both at the same time, it was such a great 1 on 1 experience. She did everything I'm used to for a fitting, listening to my current shoes and wear, and put me in a great shoe. I'm excited to go back!

I was sent here by my Podiatrist for severe foot problems caused by years of Nursing. The saleswoman was incredibly knowledgeable, and I cannot thank her enough for the relief I've recieved since buying my Hoka's! I most definitely will return for more. I compared pricing to online options, and Confluence Running was the same if not better.
