We've been doing business with Potter's for YEARS. We've always found them to be helpful, knowledgeable, and the prices to be competitive. We'd rather give our money to a local business with a personal touch then a big box store ANY day off the week.

They helped my brother in law with his barn build and hopefully they can do the same for me. Woman on the phone was very nice. Gentleman who took my info was very knowledgeable and practical. He wanted to help you with short term and long term planning. Given current lumber prices.... everything is high right now during covid. Their customer service more than made up for any differences in the mind of my family. They are there to help you.

Customer service was terrible from the moment they answered the phone. Asked about deck boards and quantity available, was told "lots". And when asked about pricing of different sizes, I was told "expensive". Absolutely awful way of speaking to a customer. Seemed to annoy him when I asked for the actual price per board and why they were DOUBLE the cost of anywhere else that I had spoken to. Price gouging is bad enough, but top that with terrible customer service. Will take my business elsewhere.

Glad they were open and had what I needed. Was grossly overcharged for lumber. Nearly twice what other yards charge for the same item. Nothing in store is labeled with prices - which makes it difficult to make economical decisions. Guess I paid for convenience, next time I'll drive a few more miles.
