The location itself could probably use an update, but given it's a government agency that probably won't happen for another 10 years.”

“Ok…so I live literally a 5 min walk to the Long Beach UPS….BUT that being said, I have NEVER been in Long Beach without them trying to scam me into buying a box for a delivery that does not need a box! The staff at Long Beach is very nice but they say the owner is the one who tries to scam people!

“I typically visit the lindenhurst ups store location, which I am not a fan of. The woman who is usually there is nasty and always yelling. At this location i was greeted warmly by a young lady and a young gentleman who helped me make my return and send my package out. I didn’t get their names, the one was a young gentleman with brown hair and the young lady had black hair and glasses. Thank you to both of them for making my experience here welcoming. I will be back!”

“I accidentally returned an Amazon item here using the wrong QR code. 10 minutes later, I went back and told them and the lady at the register went to the back room for 5 minutes and found my package that I had originally brought. I was very impressed with the dedication she took to find it. She came out with the package and scanned the correct QR code I had and I was correctly issued my refund. I really appreciate how helpful and nice she was as this was top tier customer service.”

It took me a while to assemble and I was able to listen to how they worked for about 1.5 hrs and it was really great to witness. Patient, professional, fast and great synergy btw them.”
“The workers at this post office are very nice people and they always try their best, however I run a local business and depend on my mail in a timely fashion per the app. When I lived in Seaford, the app was 99.9% accurate and my checks always came. At North Bellmore, they are always understaffed and worse on holiday weeks. There needs to be better staffing by management, so PO Box owners can get mail in a timely fashion. This is an organization that should be more on top of things. The public depends on this. When the economy is tight like now, timeliness matters more. I’d love to see mail put in the boxes quicker so we don’t have to wait days extra. If the app was 99.9% on time in Seaford that SHOULD translate to all towns locally.”
“I sent 4 boxes, I was afraid because of the negative comments. But I have to tell you that everything arrived as well as I sent it. The only thing is that two of my boxes were dirty with oil on the outside. I didn't send oil, but apparently some oil was spilled near my boxes and dirty two. Everything arrived very quickly. It only took 17 days.”

“These are some of the kindest people I have ever met and they have restored my faith in the importance of the human aspect of choosing a mom and pop business. I had my mother ship something from Florida to New York so the baby could have some nice Christmas gifts and the shipment ended up lost, to me, signed for by someone whose address did not match mine. This kind person, realizing it is Christmas time, brought the package to this store where he had been a long time loyal customer to see if they could work it out and get it to the right people. South shore mailroom then tracked down my mom and held it for us to pick up. It was kind and selfless for everyone involved and i am going to find an excuse to use their services.
