We have had such a wonderful experience living at Parkstead Copenhagen for the past year. It's a quiet, relaxing community, the leasing manager Karen is extremely responsive and kind, and Charlie the maintenance man is quick and helpful! The huge yards and newly updated playgrounds are definitely our favorite part, perfect for a family. Can't say eneough about our experience!

Made an appointment to look at some apartments. Get there and the office is closed and was told the person who shows apartments was going to be over an hour to get there. There was no communication that my appointment had been changed or cancelled. Very unprofessional.

Just be prepared for them to steal your security deposit without giving you a reason why. The blonde bag in the office is a wench.

My husband and I moved here because he is stationed at Ft.Drum and I am happy with our decision to live off post. The community is quiet for the most part and people are super friendly and nice. Even our pup loves it here.

I moved here on the account that I needed a place fast. The price was the cheapest around and they allowed pets. These two reasons alone were the reasons I chose Deer River Estates, now Parkstead Copenhagen. I also loved the location. HOWEVER, I NEVER imagined I would be here for 2 years, (and planning to stay longer) let alone even stay here for the first year of my lease. It is just the perfect location... I work very close and go to school at JCC part time. It is absolutely wonderful for the two of us with the animals and there has been no reason to leave. It’s so quiet here and my neighbors are just great. During the day, the kids next door are always outside playing and my dog enjoys the free open space in the backyard. She is a chocolate lab, so a bigger dog, and I’ve always worried about her causing issues for other residents but I’ve never had a complaint. Karen has done so much, and continues to do so much for this community, along with the maintenance guys. Every week, they are doing a new project to make the place we call home even better. If there is ever a time anything is broken the guys come right over to fix it. For example, a while back, my kitchen sink was leaking so I called the emergency maintenance number. He was here first thing the very next morning after I let him know it wasn’t exactly an emergency, I didn’t have to use my sink that night. I believe any poor ratings came from the time before Karen came into management. I did have some issues then but luckily it was only a few months after moving here that Karen came and straighten things out. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone.

I have lived here for a year and a half now and every time you call the office no one picks up the apartments are over priced and maintenance is not kept up. I have a dish washer that has worked properly since I moved in and I have the toliet back up on me quite a few times. If your going have your residence Pay over 800 for the apartment you would think that these this things would be taken care of. And I don't what propan runns at other places but is almost a 200 dollars a mother here so just be aware of what your getting your self into when moving here .

Average apt building. Rent at the start was $650 then went up to $850. The heating bill was crazy high. There was nothing to do in the neighborhood. I'm glad I'm out but I need to live there at the time.
