We stayed for two nights in the "Waiting Room". Things we liked: The room was very large and had several antique furnishings and old wood flooring that gave it a lot of character. There was a wall just outside our room with many signatures from people associated with baseball that had stayed there. The wifi worked very well. Breakfast was very good and different each day we were there. We could walk to the Hall of Fame and lots of restaurants in just a few minutes. The things we didn't: Being at the very front of the building, there was a fair bit of road noise. Light sleepers who get this room should bring earplugs. Also, we couldn't get the temperature of the room adjusted to what we preferred, possibly being due to it being an older building.

The location is great! Walkable to everything. Rooms are nice and the theme of a dentists office is unique. Breakfast was good and the coffee was bottomless!Rooms: Rooms were all labelled different things, such as the "waiting room" which was where the patients would wait to see the dentist that used this building.Nearby activities: Hold courses, boat rentals

Very nice B&B. Great breakfast. Perfect location to Hall of Fame and souvenir/memorabilia shops nearby. Some nice signatures in their wall by past HOF patrons and family. Stayed in "Waiting Room" at the front of the house. Street noise was a hit annoying but understandable. Would recommend

We had booked last minute to stay in cooperstown and had really wanted to stay at the hotel by the lake but it was already full. We then tried a couple other bed and breakfast that were booked, one of those recommended The White House Inn. When we arrived I was skeptical, we weren't staying in the house but around the block in another house, which turned out to be perfect!!! It was an upstairs apartment with a kitchen living room, bedroom and private bathroom. There was a coffee stain in the bedroom but the lady who brought us in immediately pointed it out and apologized and said the carpet cleaners hadn't been in yet, I can live with that!! The rest of the apartment was clean and the bathroom was updated for the age of the house! We only stayed one night but the bed was very comfortable and when we came back from a long day of walking and sightseeing, coming into the apartment at night with the lamps lit, it was very charming!! Oh and bonus, out front there is a sign in the yard that said watch for deer and fawn crossing, we thought it was a joke, but sure enough there was a deer standing in the front yard when we came back that evening!!

My boyfriend and I stayed for a night in February. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They even helped with a last minute reservation change without any trouble. The Inn has a ton of character. Our room was clean and comfortable. My boyfriend and I are tall and we did hit our heads on the slanted ceiling several times but that wouldn't keep from staying there again! The Inn is in a great location. It's a short walk to shops, restaurants and the hall of fame. Breakfast was delicious and coffee and tea are available all day. We would definitely stay here again.
