During a Cooperstown vacation, we went to this local liquor store. We've never vacationed in NY state before. We walked in looking for beer. The rude young man behind the counter stated that state laws won't allow him to sell beer. He said beer is sold at gas stations and grocery stores. It's not like that where we come from. Cooperstown Village is a tourist attraction. This boy was speaking and looking at us like we were idiots! Better to jump in the car and buy our liquor and beer somewhere else.

They always have what I am looking for, and if they didn't or I wasn't sure what to try, I'm confident the staff would have a great recommendation. Pricing is competitive for the area. Plus, there is plenty of selection in the cooler!

There were more wine options than liquor for a “Liquor Store”. There was also barely any beer / wine cooler options. but the store itself was very beautifully put together and organized.

Wow such a great variety of booze. And many local selections. Very helpful and nice. They also helped guide me to places in Cooperstown which was very nice. To go and drink up.
