This B&B exceeded our expectations, it was so wonderful! Walking distance to downtown and the Baseball Hall of Fame, walking distance to the lakefront. The Inn is in a beautiful historic building, the breakfast was excellent, the service was outstanding, and we ended every evening with s'mores by the wood burning fire pit. Very charming and peaceful!

What a fantastic property. My wife and I decided to take an impromptu trip up to Cooperstown and stayed here. Impeccably clean and well decored. Fabulous breakfast in the morning common room, and our suite was both "old fashioned" and modern. Just a short walk to the main strip with restaurants and shopping.

I wish I had the option of leaving 10 stars. It is the nicest place I have ever stayed in. Better than the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Greenbrier, Ritz in London. This Inn is gorgeous. Beautifully appointed, our room very spacious, and literally not a thing out of place. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Breakfast is a fixed menu but they are very accommodating if you aren’t a fan of what is being served. We went to the kitchen in the morning and got coffee while we were getting ready for our day. Every single staff member was friendly and easy to talk to. If you are in Cooperstown for the Baseball Hall of Fame this is the place to stay. It is a short walk from the Inn and the surrounding area is lovely. John, the owner, could not have been more helpful on the details. The only downside? I will compare any place I stay in the future against this experience and I know already anyplace will fall short. We can’t wait to come back.

My experience at The Landmark Inn in Cooperstown was truly amazing! The location was perfect for our visit to Cooperstown. The place was beautiful and as we checked in, we were greeted by a delightful young woman named Aislynn who showed us to our room. She made us feel welcome and gave us a lot of information about the place and other recommendations for other things to do in the area! The 2 Breakfasts that we were served were 2 of the BEST I've had in all of My 63 years! Thank You so much to the Staff of The Landmark Inn! I am now a Fan for LIFE!

A thoroughly charming inn. The service is wonderful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, luxuriously furnished, impeccably clean, and quaint but with modern amenities. Our breakfast was outstanding. Easy walking distance to the main street and the Hall of Fame Museum. First class in every respect.

We had an amazing stay at the Landmark Inn! From answering my questions weeks before we arrived, to making me feel extra special for this birthday getaway, and serving the best breakfast I’ve ever had (Vita - I mean it, come live with me!) it was the highlight of our road trip.

Our stay at the Landmark Inn was such an enjoyable experience! The room was great, and the breakfasts were outstanding. It was our first time traveling with a dog (our 10 month old Frenchie), and the beautiful room had everything we needed.
The service and care from everyone was above and beyond, especially when we had a vet emergency with our puppy (no worries, she was fine in a few hours).
This was our sixth trip to Cooperstown, but first time at the Landmark Inn. It is convenient to the lovely downtown area and all the attractions.
We will be back in the Fall and definitely plan to stay at the Landmark Inn.
Rooms: The Inn is beautiful. Everything is newly renovated. They have three dog-friendly rooms in an extension a few steps from the main house.
Nearby activities: Baseball Hall of Fame
Fenimore Art Museum
Otsego Lake (Glimmerglass)
Glimmerglass Park
Walkability: Before our arrival, the concierge sent us a list of local restaurants and attractions with walking or driving distance to each one.
Food & drinks: The breakfasts created by chef Vita were absolutely next level, plentiful and delicious.

Every moment of our stay was memorable. We pulled in and didn't even have to open the door; Nick was opening it to greet us. He is the perfect person to be working the front desk in an inn...he was helpful, pleasant, full of good information, and I had the best time just sitting and chatting with him. I'd notified the staff that I was there to celebrate my fiancé's 50th birthday, and they had special homemade chocolate truffles waiting for him in the room.
Our suite, the Chance, was directly off the parking lot and that was very convenient. The room was spotless and the bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. As I told Nick, I was ready to move in to the amazing shower, and my 6'7" fiancé was quite happy about the fact that he could actually stretch out in the jacuzzi tub.
I didn't reserve the 6" inches of snow we received this weekend, but it made the town - and the inn - so beautiful. Quite a few restaurants closed early due to the weather (or were already closed for the season), but Nick and John recommended a great Italian restaurant that was perfect for a birthday dinner. In fact, everything they recommended to us was perfect.
On the first morning we were served challah bread French toast with fresh cooked apples & raisins on top with delicious bacon and the best hot chocolate I've had in ages. Apparently Vita, the chef in residence, wasn't able to get in due to weather but that didn't stop the rest of the staff from providing us with an excellent way to start our day. On the second morning we had an egg and cheese herb souffle with brown sugar sausage and homemade applesauce.
We definitely hated to leave and will be back again as soon as we are able.

This place was amazing!!! My fiancé took me here for my 50th Birthday. Due to a snow storm, places in town closed, and the staff made excellent recommendations for our dinners. The breakfasts were 5 stars. The rooms a very comfy and relaxing when we were not in town. Everything is within walking distance of here. We will definitely be back!!!!
Rooms: Our room was amazing with the jacuzzi tub and multi head shower. Plus a very comfortable bed, plenty of closet space and a mini fridge.
Nearby activities: All the baseball activities are within walking distance
Food & drinks: The. Breakfast are 5 stars!!!!

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Cooperstown back in October, and the stay was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were warm and accommodating. We stayed in a room upstairs in toward the back of the house, simple and clean, but bathroom was nicely updated and the shower was great. The dining recommendations and places of interest information that they shared with us ahead of our stay was so incredibly helpful. The location was perfect, easy to walk to the main street, even on a cool rainy day.Thank you for a great stay, highly recommend!

Loved our stay at the Landmark! We stayed with our dog and 14 month old in the one dog friendly room (Henry’s Hideaway). The room was so cute and the bed and sheets were the best hotel experience I’ve had! The breakfast in the morning is exceptional and made even better by the amazing staff. Terry was our server both mornings and she was amazing. So friendly and accommodating, with recommendations of things to do in town. Fantastic location, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and hall of fame downtown. We will definitely be back! - The Manchesters
