Celebrated my birthday here. Seemed to take a while for our first drinks to arrive, but overall service was great. We had the French onion soup, Mahi Mahi, tagine with tofu, creme brulee, chocolate stout cake. Every single thing was scrumptious. I also tried a cocktail called The Beet Goes On. It was divine . . . if you like beets.

The service and food have never disappointed. We were there last week and had a wonderful dinner. I love the options for the fish. You pick your fish, a starch and a vegetable (there are three options for each). It is outstanding. This past visit, my husband had the cornish hen and he loved it. Another great experience. Managers actually stop at your table and check in. They consistently go out of their way to say hello. It made our visit special. We will be back.

Amazing service! It could not he better from the host to the server, to the spa staff. The atmosphere is the view of the lake so how could you lose? Breathtaking! We greatly enjoyed our food. Food at Hawkeye is consistently good and being one of their emailed patrons we enjoyed a sweet spa and lunch special.

The gorgeous view of Lake Otsego was worth the price of admission. The hotel grounds and interior are lovely, too. Good selection of (six) craft beers on tap. The soup and grilled cheese option was an incredible bargain, especially considering that the sandwich was a whole one with bacon and tomato. Be sure to reserve a table with a view of the lake.

This International Night theme was Japan and the food was excellent from the bread course to the dessert. The seared tuna appetizer was delicious and we could have eaten untold amounts of that and been happy. The chicken yakitori bowl had an array of vegetables and the flavors and textures were excellent. Our server—and every server and busser —was moving nonstop the entire time yet never once left us thinking we had been forgotten. Excellent meal and service!

We came for a massage and stayed for lunch. All of the staff in the building were extremely friendly, helpful, and go all out to make guests feel welcome. On top of that, it's one of those restaurants that looks too pricy to even walk into, but they were very reasonable. Plus the view of the lake was nice.

At the price point the food was okay it was very consistent and the stakes were cooked properly to the proper temperature requested. I have prime rib and frankly I have had better but I also had much worse. The crab cake was very good but you don't get a lot. The chocolate layer cake was very large and was pretty good so I'm okay with paying the price but I have also had better chocolate cake. The wine selection is very good and there is a very wide range of the availability and honestly I would go back but I know I can get the same quality of food for less at other places in town.

We always enjoy our dining experience at the Hawkeye Grill. It's the little extras throughout the Otesaga that always make us feel special. The staff are outstanding! The food is always delicious. Many thanks for always making us feel welcome!!

I ate here while attending a conference. The service was good, not super fast but not super slow either. I ordered the French onion soup and Just a Cheeseburger. The food was good, slightly pricey but we were at The Otesaga so not unexpected. There is an outdoor firebar that is pretty neat.

My wife, Kathy and I just happened upon this restaurant after a visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame museum. The location at the Otesaga Resort overlooking Lake Otsaga is perfectly picturesque. The restaurant had a varied menu. We chose the Crab Cakes and Meatloaf options, both wonderfully prepared. But what we will remember most fondly was the impeccable and thoroughly entertaining service provided by the bar tender, Nicolai. He treated us like royalty and certainly is a great asset to the inn! We would go back to just see him- and we travelled from California!!

The Otesaga's Hawkeye Bar and Grill never disappoint. ALL food is made from scratch. The service is old school attentive and polite. Professionalism abounds. As with any restaurant, we have our favorites. Always pleased:)

First time dining here. We enjoyed excellent service both at the bar and in the restaurant. We each had an appetizer ( French onion soup and Chicken Liver Pate) and thought both dishes excellent. The cranberry bread at the table was OK, not great. Our entrees were wonderful (Meatloaf "Butcher's Style and Crab Cakes with Rice and Spinach). For dessert we shared Creme Brulee, also well prepared. We would return when next in the area.
