“The culmination of an historic baseball career is found walking the halls of the baseball Hall of Fame. It is a perfect blend of baseballs past heroes and today's superstars. I was caught off guard as we approached the area thinking I was looking for a large building, but was surprised to find, the museum entrance straightahead tucked in to the street and area. The museum is spacious and visitors can easily see the various artifacts on display even when crowded. The museum staff and docents are helpful and provide insightful information into Baseball's past. I was excited to see actual game balls from no hit games, the bats used to hit magnificent home, runs, uniforms and equipment from players. I have watched over a lifetime, and other facts and information that boggle the mind. I particularly loved the memorial plaques of Hall of Fame inductees in searching for legends, childhood stars, and recent inductees. You will want to have enough time to see each floor and level of the museum, so I would recommend that you plan for 2 to 4 hours at least. The gift shop has plenty of one-of-a-kind items as well as fan favorites, players yesterday and today.”
