I cannot thank Jen enough for cutting my little guys hair today. I have been doing it myself since he was 1 (he is 4 and a half). He REALLY needed a professional haircut and not a mom cut! lol (He has serious sensory issues). Jen had some toys that made him feel comfortable at the salon before she welcomed him to his chair. Yes, dad had to hold him down and there was screaming involved lol, BUT, Jen worked fast and efficiently. She was done in about 5 minutes or so, this made it much easier to get done. He looks so handsome!!! I highly recommend you visit her if your child is autistic, has sensory issues or just can't handle a haircut that requires you to sit in a chair for 20 minutes. Go see Jen, you will be so happy that you did!!!

I have had perms before but Gail seem to know exactly what I was talking about. The cut was exactly what I wanted and I was totally satisfied, well really 100% satisfied. I would recommend Gail to all for she knows what she's doing. Thanks Gail

Haircuts can be very stressful for my toddler, but Jenn handled him with nothing but patience and caring. She worked hard to distract him and help me keep his focus on other things, while also giving him a great haircut. At other salons, they'd just throw an ipad at him and hack away until his hair was shorter, without regard for style. Not here. Jenn worked to ensure that both my child and myself were both happy! Despite starting out a bit stressful, this was the first time my son had a haircut where he didn't cry through it, AND it came out looking great!

Jen is truly the best. We've been using her since my now 17 year old was an unruly toddler kicking and screaming his way through hair cuts. Most recently, Jen did my daughters hair for her Sweet 16 and she was thrilled with it. If you haven't tried North Country Kids yet, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

So someday my little guy will get a nice calm haircut in a chair by himself. Until then, our new friend Jenn will make sure it is somewhat quieter and definitely quicker than an exorcism. My little guy really likes Jenn. He doesn't like haircuts but he likes Jenn. I love her because she prepared me, took care of him and listened. I left feeling like I can take my son to get a haircut by myself. It might sound silly but that is a huge deal to me. I also know that I am not limited to looks from the BEATLES or Joe Dirt (out of fear of taking him for a haircut). Thank you for taking the time to listen and learn about us. I'm so happy to have met you!!
