Worst customer service ever.... don't expect your photos to be ready on time!!! they'll make every excuse in the book to have any orders not ready. they threatened to call the police on me when I simply asked for my photos and why they couldn't give me what had printed since they hadn't started them in enough time for them to finish before they closed. Claimed to be busy when there was not another soul in the store besides me and the workers. Felt absolutely ridiculous that they'd kick me out and threaten to call the police over a photo pickup order. Never go to this walgreens.

No one answers the phone at the pharmacy. Needed medication asap and have been on hold OVER 1.5 hours. Absolutely insane.

Couldn't give Zero, if I could I would. I've never seen such carelessness towards sick people. I've been going here for 15 years, but in the last year or two this place has gone WAY downhill. They just put you in hold time after time. After waiting on hold for 30 min they hung up on me. I called back and tried to speak to the store manager and he just rushed to put me on hold for another 20 min until I finally hung up. I strongly encourage anyone who reads this to switch to a local neighborhood pharmacy where they appreciate your business

What can I say racism is real. I won't disclose what ethnicity I am but I waited over 10 minutes for someone to help me get my father a Covid booster. People walked by me like I didn't exist behind the pharmacist counter. A group of Caucasian women line up and they are helped before me while I waited to even be acknowledged. So while I am waiting on the line specifically for the Covid shots for over 10 minutes I have to stick my head behind the wall to ask if someone will help me. They say give them a few minutes 5-10 minutes after this they finally come. Just to tell me there aren't any shots but while waiting I saw someone else get a shot. Mind you I was waiting on the Covid shot only line like what else can I be there for. I hope management sees this and does something about this.

Usually decent but have had numerous issues. One- they ignored a DAW prescription for a particular brand of birth control, and actually filled with the incorrect medication, and gave it to me. You would think they would have called and said they did not have the brand i needed (as per the dispense as written-name brand only order by my provider) so they could not honor it, but would send it to another pharmacy or order the appropriate med, but nope, they filled with the generic brand that i specifically could not take, luckily I realized before taking the medication, and was able to point out that the script said "dispense as written, brand name only" so i have no clue why they ignored that. Ended up having to return meds, transfer script, and get prescription filled elsewhere (with correct meds) but it was a hassle and refills were a nightmare bc pharmacy transfer cancels auto refills. Also, i am more upset to mention that this Pharmacy does not remind you of any time sensitive prescription pickup. I am currently in the midst of trying to get a refill for an order of 90 day supply of another med, that i never picked up (order was placed too early by my dr, but usually they store it in computer, fill it on due date, then call me to pick up) because i was never informed it was ready, or even filled. it turns out the pharmacy cancelled the prescription (with no warning to me or my doctor) due to time (9 days). This came as a shock to me, and this is very anxiety inducing. When i expressed this, and questioned why i did not get any reminder whatsoever, I was callously told to deal with it with my doctor, so now i am left to get the doctor to reorder. It will be an extreme hassle for me.The staff refuses to call providers to do this and basically refused to apologize for lack of reminder and the inconvenience. The pharmacy tech or whoever answered the phone was honestly rude and not understanding at all about a situation I was confused and upset about. Very disappointed in this aspect of the service I have received here.

Walgreens in Commack on the corner of Larkfield road has a real problem. I made three appointments for a pneumonia vaccine online since you can't do it in store even though the website says walk ins. The first time they said I hadn't made an appointment, I had but I didn't have a print out of my email so I had to leave. The second time they said I needed a prescription ( they don't say this on their website) so I had to leave. THEN the third time they once again said I didn't have an appointment but this time I had proof. So then they questioned me about the prescription which didn't make sense since the doctor confirmed they called it in, then asked me to wait for an indefinite amount of time. I never got my vaccine. This Walgreens is poorly managed and grossly inept at their jobs. I would be surprised if their giving out the wrong prescriptions you certainly will have trouble getting any vaccinations there.

Poor customer service.I waited 8 hours for them to fill a very simple prescription.Then when I got to the window for the pick up, I had to wait and addition 20 minutes, there were no other cars in line

I've been going to this Walgreens for too many years to count. Surprised by the bad reviews. I have never had a negative experience. In fact the pharmacy department in a whole is so helpful and nice. I have been getting my flu shots here for years, as well. It's a large drugstore with a variety of products. On a side note, the Walgreens App is useful as well.

The worst Walgreens ever! Go to the one down on Larkfield across from the Best Yet shopping center. Mike the acting manager is absolutely terrible. I wanted to return a pair of unworn flip flops with tags, and he said it was at his discretion. Power trip much? He actually told me to leave the store, as he claimed I was making a scene. He was yelling, and I was smiling and nodding. I informed him that I purchased them at the other Walgreens and he told me to get out and go there. Rude! I did, and they courtesly granted my return, with a smile. No issues at the other location. Selection is good, prices are high, but parking is ample. Go to the other store for excellent hassle free customer service. You won't regret it. I submitted a complaint to Gary, the District Manager and got no response. I go to Walgreens everyday. No one, especially a loyal customer deserves this treatment. Avoid this store at all costs.
