Wow! I was surprised by how clean and organized this Shop Rite turned out to be! They have the prepared foods right by the entrance and fresh produce on the left. You can definitely get in and out quickly. The only downside is you have to walk to the very end for self-checkout and the area between the cashiers can get tight when there is a crowd.

I ordered flowers from the floral department for my husband's 80th birthday party in May and again for my 80th birthday party in August. Jason in the flower department was wonderful! He was great to work with and the flowers were fresh and beautiful. They lasted 2 weeks! The cost was less than expected which never happens these days. My husband and I love the supermarket in general but wanted to extend a special acknowledgement and thank you to Jason.Carole

I would like to ask Shop right to go back to the price plus card only- the downloading at the computer screen is the last thing I want to do at the end of my work day..I spend around $400-$500 a month (sometimes more)& hate wasting my time doing this- I`m sure many people of my generation are not as computerized as the younger people who have the phone glued to their head every moment-it is annoying and not worth the hassle- as a result I go to a local market & give them my hard earned money-If anyone from corporate reads this-Do the math you are losing thousands of dollars!what good is technology if it makes your life harder!

This is the worst supermarket I've ever been to. I was there today and got celery, got it home and it's half rotten! The produce is crap. Also, the sour cream was outdated today. Have gotten bad sour cream and ricotta cheese from there before, and it's just unacceptable. I'm reporting them to the health department!

I have been using their Shoprite from home service FOR YEARS as I'm disabled and they were so great, until now. The past 4 times I used their service, they would ALWAYS, ALWAYS forget to give me a portion of my order while still charging me. I have get a ride as I am not able to drive myself. I am a level headed woman, but 4 F ups in a row and now it's time to say goodbye to this location. Don't use them! Go with another supermarket or location. Too bad.

I happen to like shopping for groceries at shop rite, usually i goto the one in Whitestone Queens.Today i came to costco in Commack and so i noticed this huge store. As soon as i walked in, i went bu the Deli area which was busy so i browsed only. I noticed right at the entrance of the store the strong scent of fried chicken and it actually made me hungry. Too bad i had purchase rotisserie chickens from costco already. I walked the back near the bakery area and k found a cinnamon cake which look good and we picked that up for dessert tonight as we had family over. I couldn't find the pork chops with bone, so we went right over to the chicken section and i picked up box of chicken leg and thighs. Overall this is a nice store very clean and with a good selection of beef and chicken. Too bad i dont have one like near me. Will certainly make it a point to come back if i am in the area.

This is one of the better supermarkets in the Commack area. If the item you are looking for can be found in a supermarket, then it can most likely be found here. When I have needed to ask for assistance at the customer service desk, they have done a great job providing it. If there is an area for improvement, it is the fish market. On one occasion, I pointed to a specific piece of salmon I wanted , but was told "they are all the same." On my most recent visit, I purchased two half-pound strips of the salmon, and asked if they could be separated so that I could freeze them and then prepare them separately. Unfortunately, when I removed the package from the freezer, I found two pieces of salmon -- frozen together. After spending 10 minutes trying to chisel the salmon apart, I abandoned the effort and prepared the entire "iceberg of salmon" as one meal.

I was doing shopping pickup at Country Pointe Plainview during Covid 19. The area that they set off for pickup was becoming too crowded & there were customers not wearing masks picking up while I was in the room. Because of this & the problem of getting needed supplies, I gave SRCommack a try. They have a much larger area for pickup. I was very comfortable in their pickup area. I received everything I ordered. I was ecstatic. Now, SRCountryPointe has delivery. I will give that a try.

Nice people however for every hundred dollars you spend , the bill is off by about 2.00-2.50 . Which translates to about 2.25%. This adds up over time . They know that everyone is trying to checkout at the register quickly so it's an easy cheat . I think the registers run like a casino where they turn up the cheat when they want higher margins . Last week it was eggs , this week tomato sauce . Things like that which can easily go undetected until you get home and see the circular price was not given - etc.

I used to love coming here for sushi on my breaks because they would make me a roll without the things i am allergic to, i went to ask them today and the guy gave me the NASTIEST attitude and told me to get whatever was there and that they dont do that. Meanwhile there's literally a sign that says they do? Never coming back here again

I normally shop at this location however I recently got chased down by not one but two security guards because they thought I stole food at the already prepared food area. The register at this area seems to always be closed and the lady working behind the counter was very rude and was the person who called security to say I stole food when I was asking for two older ladies if they could be rung up in that area but I had already paid for mine in the front. Better training is needed if they saw me eating food that by the way needs to be weigh in wouldn't you say something then ? I could have easily showed a receipt if they would have asked if I paid for it but instead I got chased down. Although the security guards and managers were very apologetic the lady behind the counter apology was given with an attitude and I must add to it that I was with my 76 year old mother and 5 year old daughter that my daughter a day later said mommy you remember yesterday the security guard chased you down. The store itself is clean and always stocked but I will not get anything by the prepared food area with that rude lady After receiving a call from manager John today who was very understanding and apologetic I have changed my review . He advised that they will follow back up with the employee to make sure the proper steps are being handled.

Actually I like this place, although I don't shop here often. Have not had an major issues with any of the staff but do agree they could be better trained in how to make customers feel welcome.

The cake decorator in the bakery did an amazing job on my grandson's Sesame Street birthday cake! Thanks so very much! Highly recommend!
