The sapphire that I wear on a chain around my neck fell out of it’s setting. One of the prongs had to be replaced. The procedure cost $95 plus tax. I’m sorry I had it done because I think that price was exorbitant. Since then I have found another jeweler that is much more affordable. I feel like I was robbed. obviously I will never return.

The best jewelry store on Long Island! I have followed them since the Commack Flea Market days. Highly recommend them.

Went in for an updated appraisal on my engagement ring so I could add it to my insurance and take it off my mother's. My mom had called a couple months ago to ask if I needed a whole new appraisal or if I could just get a copy of the one she had done about a year and a half ago. She was told on the phone that they looked it up and still had the original appraisal and that if my insurance company needed an updated one with a more recent date to just come in and they could update it for me for $65. I went in on Saturday and the lady immediately without even asking how long ago I had the original appraisal done told me they don't have the original and I needed a new one for of course more money. I called my mom to clarify what she was told on the phone and she assured me the woman she spoke to on the phone was able to look up my appraisal. I told them it was recently looked up in their system and she clearly got annoyed that she had to be bothered to look it up. Asked another lady to look it up and that lady also seemed annoyed. Maybe because they lost out on the "sale" of an original appraisal vs the lower price of just an updated one? Finally came back up front with the updated appraisal and of course the price was magically higher than what my mom was quoted on the phone. I didn't say anything because clearly they need the extra whopping $15. I just will not be returning to this jewelry store for anything.

Bunty's is the best. Great, knowledgeable jewelers, super friendly. It's my go to Jeweler. Recently, I went in to ask a quick question about a silver bracelet clasp. They took it back to look at it for a couple of minutes, came back to answer my question and it wasn't until I left, that I noticed they had completely restored its shine. All free of charge. Not wishing to be redundant but they are the best!

I had a horrible experience having my ring sized with them. First they cancelled my appointment 2 times, figured I'd give them one more shot and I was wrong. The Jeweler Eddie is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. He had my fiancé and I in tears when we left. I had greeted him when I walked into the back and he was just stone faced and gave no response. When I sat down he asked me what size I wanted and I told him I was unsure and he grunted at me. He then took my engagement ring and started to critique it and yell at my fiancé because it wasn't a diamond. However the band itself is white gold. To me it's not about how big a ring or diamond is. It's about the promise someone makes to you. After yelling at my fiancé about how much he spent on the ring, he turned to both of us and said he was a professional and refuses to do any work on my ring. I will never recommend this place or it's sister store in Smithtown.

Absolutely beautiful jewelry sold here with wonderful, friendly and helpful staff to assist in choosing the perfect piece. They also do gorgeous custom work. I wish I had such a warm, family feeling jewelry store closer to my current home

The staff was so pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Eddie did a great job on my ring while I waited and was able to watch him do it.

Over the years we have bought several expensive items. Recently a bracelet my husband had given me had broken. Brought in for repair which seemed expensive. But I figured I should have it done. Go to pick it up, girl tells me they charge tax on repairs. I was shocked given it was $120 to fix. So I explain I have $120 cash , I guess I have to use a credit card for tax she proceeds to ring up $130 something on my card. I say to her clearly you were not listening to me ! She snidely says as I am leaving " Merry Christmas " I will never go in that store again no wonder it was empty !

Went there to fixed my necklace once. Fixed part was either discolored or different material. Broke again (same exact place) after 2 days. The lady who received my necklace was nice but when i went back, the other lady who gave my necklace back wasn't nice at all.

If you need an engagement ring, there's no place else to go to KNOW you are getting what you paid for. They carry all kinds of beautiful jewelry for any occasion! Bunty's is a family owned business and have been around at least 30 years.......how many businesses can say that? For price, value and integrity go to Bunty's Commack Rd Meat Farm Shopping Center Commack, and in Smithtown RTE 11 in the Uncle Guiseppi Shopping Center
