I am not a frequent customer of Lowes and have not been to Lowes in a while now. I was up in Albany and looking for a very specific item. I will definitely change that habit. As infrequently as I visit Lowes, they always have exactly what I am looking for, in this case, gutter guards. The all have a huge parking lot with centrally located handicapped parking. Very short walk to the store which was definitely very well stocked. Took a walk through the store afterwards to get an idea of what is now available. I was really impressed to that they now carry a full line of Craftman tools. I really never saw a spread of them like this, they had items that I had never seen before. They also had quite the collection of power tools. Many different manufacturers covering all price points. The team member I spoke with was extremely helpful and guided us perfectly to the area I needed to find the item(s) I was looking for. The store is clean and organized, easy to navigate. KUDOs to the team here at Lowes.

Most home improvement stores are large and the staff is unhelpful. Today I stopped at Lowe's to pick up a bulb auger. For those that aren't big gardeners it's a tool you use to dig holes for bulbs. I couldn't find it where the website said it was and the guy in tools was incredibly unhelpful. Josh at the service desk spent 10 minutes searching for it and I finally walked out with what I needed. In my book Josh is a rock star, he could have just said that it couldn't be found but instead he hunted it down for me. I don't usually get that kind of service in a big box store.

I purchased a new refrigerator from Lowe's in May, 2023. It was installed in June. I almost missed the delivery because they gave me the wrong time. But my real problem is that one of the double doors does not shut properly. I have tried calling the help number and was told that I only had 48 hours to report an installation problem. They then referred me to Samsung. I have been on a text (not phone) chat for an hour and a half and am not close to solving my problem. I have tried calling my local Lowe's, but once the voicemail directs me to an associate, no one ever answers the phone. What should I do to fix my new refrigerator?I What ever happened to customer service? Don't shop for appliances at Lowe's!

Of all the home improvement/garden centers I've visited at least during the spring, Lowe's has (so far) the best setup. They seemed to be ahead of everyone else in terms of plants and outdoor supplies as well as patio furniture. The inside seems better organized too. They still don't have a lot of the less common plants I'm seeking, but they do actually have some of them available on their website (others don't), and I can order them online and have them delivered to the store for pickup. Actually, ordering some items online seems better. As well organized as I said the store was above, I don't think that applied to at least the doors. I found it a lot easier to fine what I wanted on an internet search than I could in the store.

I had a fence installed around my pool in 2018. The install was supposed to be completed in April, but after Lowe's having two subcontractors quit, it wasn't installed until November. The vinyl gates were installed without attaching them to 4x4 posts in the vinyl. Within 6 months the gates had, all 4, broken due to them only being screwed into the thin plastic with no wood for support. All handles also ripped out of the vinyl, within a year, due to them not using anchors. I tried to contact Lowe's and could not get a return call or email. I now have to replace all gates as they had all broken off completely in less than three years. I would never recommend Lowe's for any installation project. Not only did they not have qualified installers, but they also did not even try to rectify the situation.

I cannot express how disgusted I am with this store. My fiancé is a frequent customer (sometimes multiple times a day) with his job/business. He has had extremely rude attitude towards himself and his business partner when they are there. The employees never seem to know how to use the machines (he has had to cut his own carpet on numerous occasions). Managers will walk right past him with an attitude or are snippy. Employees speak poorly in front of customers. This is not a way to treat patrons who are in your store. Very disgusted. If he didn’t have to go there because of the carpet size and certain materials he would avoid it but sadly he has to still pay visits to this store.

Worst customer service ever!
My Mom purchased an appliance back on December 29, 2022. It was a special order refrigerator. It was supposed to be delivered on February 21st. Apparently, the appliance wasn’t available.
The appliance was rescheduled to be delivered on March 11th 2023. On March 10th, we called the store to confirm delivery for the next day…. (Get ready for this one…) The appliance was never shipped to the store…..
So, at this point, my Mom and I are baffled by the lack of communication and customer service.
The appliance delivery was rescheduled for tomorrow, March 18, 2023. Once again, no communication from the salesman or from anyone at Lowes.
Apparently, the item was ordered during the transition from the old system to the new one. You would think someone would’ve been able to manage the older orders during this time period, but I guess it didn’t happen properly.
The salesman said he would get back to my Mom and I within an hour. 2 hours went by….. (sigh)
I called the store again, after being transferred multiple times, a manager named Ryan came on the line. I described the situation to him. I also asked if he could find out where the item was located and when it would be here. He has limited knowledge of your systems and how to look up order information at your “ADC” . He told me that the order wasn’t on his next truck, and that he will check on Monday when he gets back from his weekend off.
I told him that it wasn’t good enough for me. I had him email the ADC due to the fact that no one in the store could find that phone # to contact them. I also made sure that he copied my Mother’s email address on the inquiry.
Can you please follow up with Ryan from store 1973, and maybe even the store manager?

I also mentioned to him that it’s hard to get a hold of anyone in the store, especially when the management team are in their meetings. He proceeded to tell me that he always has his phone on him while in meetings, while that may be true, I let him know that it’s rare to be able to get a manager to pick up their phone.

Two weeks ago, I selected carpet for my stairway at the Lowe's of Colonie. Derek, an associate in the flooring department, helped me select the carpet and padding, gave me dates when the carpet would arrive and gave me exact dates when the installers would call. Even though this is a small job, Derek gave this project the attention I needed because of my short window to get this project done. If you need an knowledgeable, friendly associate in the flooring department who will schedule correctly to get the job done, ask for Derek. Without exaggeration, he's the best associate I've ever worked with at any Lowe's. And he ended his lunch break early when I returned the samples to finish the paperwork. Now, that is service. Thank you Derek.

This store should've closed, you call the store after being on hold for a half hour they hang up. Three times and then they were very sarcastic and said we don't have a manager, the store needs a lot of help no product, and the people are not the brightest pennies in the jar . Lowe's is going downhill quickly.

Have been waiting over an hour for curbside pickup. After being notified via email the item I ordered was ready I got to the store and was notified the item needed to be pulled from above and they didn't have a worker to get it. I wasn't the only customer in this situation.

Stopped on lunch break to pick up a mower blade. Went straight to that department and no one available to assist. Walked back to the appliance area in hopes of finding someone there, still nobody there to help. Walked to the front and asked that they send an associate to aisle 29 to help me, announced it on the loud speaker and again, nobody showed to help. Horrible customer service.

Ordered a washer and dryer from here. When they delivered they forgot the dryer legs, so I've been calling for the past 3 WEEKS. Spoke with Darlene the manager 4 times who took my information down each time and told me Tina in appliances would be contacting me. I've also tried calling the store every other night and ask for Tina and have to leave a message since she's not available. Still haven't heard back. Customer service at this store is horrible, at this point I will definitely be contacting someone with more authority since no one seems to call anyone back or know how to do there job. They've lost my business, I will only be shopping at Home Depot for future purchases.

ordered lumber and supplies 3days later they cancelled part of order but did not give option to substitute with similar item they had stock. Did'nt notify me one item was three weeks out. one partial delivery arrived two days ago, one partial delivery arrived yesterday and one partial delivery was scheduled from another store but after waiting all day for it it never showed up! poorest customer service I ever experienced! Avoid lowes at all cost and pay a little extra and shop at local business where customer satisfaction is still number one!

Ordered a dryer online two days ago with fulfillment from this store. Delivery date curiously absent, kept checking order status. Called support (waited 47 min to connect), rep told me earliest delivery was mid-August. NOTHING in the online ordering process suggested a delay like this! This is probably not an issue with the local store, but online ordering is clearly broken. Beware. FYI, logged onto Home Depot and the website gave me a confirmed delivery date upfront.

I had a great experience at Lowes in Northway Mall, I walked in the store to get keys. well Michael was the first guy a saw. I said i needed keys He said come with me, he made the keys right away. Good keys. He was a great guy. Dont let him get away.
