Wanted a simple car wash on my Ram 1500 Bighorn. Told the worker checking people in for car washes that my truck needs a car wash where my car can sit stationary at and the robotic machine can spray my car and clean the outside. I said that my mirrors would get taken off if I didn't do this. At many other Hoffman Car Wash locations, they offer this. I asked where the nearest one was, and the worker couldn't tell me even though there were many other locations around Central Ave in South Colonie. I've personally gone to one before where this was available around Central Ave. The worker then proceeded to say that my car's mirrors wouldn't be an issue and that much larger trucks go through there every time with no problems. The second my car started to get moved through the car wash, it ripped both of my electric folding side view mirrors forwards and almost ripped them right off. In the event they did come off, they wouldn't have done a thing about it. I told a worker once I got out of the car wash, and he said that that is what usually happens with people's mirrors and that they should be fine. Thank god that they are fine, but in the event that they weren't, they wouldn't have reimbursed me for new ones. They shrugged it off when I told them about my mirrors. Very nice workers, but unreliable as shit. Don't ever bring your trucks through this Hoffman's Car Wash. Car looks good after getting it washed, but it isn't worth losing a mirror and not having it covered.

As a long time customer - 30+ years - I was disappointed with the service this week. I paid $130 for detailing and was told that vacuuming the interior was not included. When checking in, the counter person said a full service wash was included in the detailing. it made it sound like that was a free service, but I don't see how you can detail a vehicle without washing it first. I don't consider that an added benefit. The detailer offered to vacuum the vehicle for $25. I don't think so! And I don't think I'll be going back.

Three bad experiences makes it a no go for me. This last trip I paid for both the inside and outside to be cleaned. Cup holders weren't wiped out, mud still on the inside door panels, grease spot on exterior remained, making me question if the car was even washed. Under the seats weren't vacuumed. I have been there three times in as many years and left dissatisfied each time, seems like that would make it the standard, not the exception.

Buyer Beware on Hoffman's subscription. They will keep charging even after you have confirmed a cancelation with them.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!a pathetic example of another Ponzi scheme car wash. The cost of a single used car wash is nearly the same cost as the unlimited membership and they are just like every other corporate America structure get us in on a subscription and hope that we're too lazy to cancel it, therefore, making profit off of the negligence. The car wash itself sucks all the bristles leave scratches all over your car. The attendants are so lazy now they don't even walk around with the spray gun trying to help get any additional bugs or dirt off the car. They probably pay them less than minimum wage. as it would be a reflection of their character. they are far better local car washes no matter what area you live in in the capital district search for an alternative!

Wow! What a rip off! I thought $44.00 for a car wash was kind of ridiculous, but I thought at least the car would come out clean. Nope! Still gas stains by the gas cap, side view mirrors still covered with bugs, dirty water spots on the bumper! The interior is still very dusty and the moonroof has some kind of gross haze on the inside. Worst of all whatever fragrance they sprayed in it made both my daughter in law and myself have allergic reaction. I had the interior done to clear the pollen and this just made it worse. I have learned my lesson--Never again!!!!

watch out people. They overcharged my credit card (I seeing many reviews like this). I signed up for the thre months and was supposed to go up ten dollars after, but I didn't check my credit card back then and I just realized they been overcharging Iit was supposed to be 19.99 bumped up to 29.99 plus taxes. when I called they said well you have been getting the best wash package (which I didn't request). just watch out!

Watch out for your credit card statements! I signed up for the promotional review which I thought was a good deal. Satisfied with the car washes, no complaint there. However, when I reviewed my credit card statements. I was charged full price for January and February. Thinking I had coverage for February so I went through three times in February. I checked my credit card and found that that I was charged three separate times for the carwash!. I've paid a total of $110 for 3 carwashes!!

I went here today with a gift card from my granddaughter from colonie high. It was for exterior wash. So I asked how much more it would cost to add interior vacuum? The kid said 30 I'm like What! Who would pay 30 to have their car vacuumed? I said it's 18 dollars on the board for wash and vacuum so how can it be 30 extra to vacuum? He said we have a new policy LMAO. I don't think this kid actually knew what he was doing. I said no forget it just washed the outside I'll go someplace else and vacuum it.
