Had a similar poor experience in customer service. Unhelpful manager made me feel uncomfortable as she didn’t really appear to want to help me and asked a different employee to help me out- unsure if there was a racial aspect to this.

Never felt the need to leave a review before but older women at store was condescending and unhelpful. I left because I genuinely felt uncomfortable.

Being the only Eddie Bauer in the Capital Region this store is neat clean and well stocked the employees are amazingly helpful!

As a middle-aged, cis, white male, I enjoy stopping at Eddie Bauer to pick up a new hoodie to add to my rotation whenever it's time (past time, really) to retire an older hoodie. I also found a nice rain jacket, and finally decided to drop some coin on that niche of outdoor apparel; here's to keeping the upper half of my body shielded from rain, yet susceptible to being saturated with sweat if it's worn for too long in warm weather.

What a WONDERFUL GEM named Acuba works at the Eddie Bauer outlet in Albany. Always friendly and anxious to help with any questions and problems the customer has no matter how busy the store may be. She provides the personal and warm touch that is absent from so many businesses in this day and age. Even remembers your name!I had a holiday gift item that was not available in the size I needed and Acuba took down my phone number and called personally to tell me my item was in and on reserve at the store. Sure enough it was there when I stopped by to get it!Eddie Bauer is a ''go to'' store for me and it is in large part because of the welcoming customer experience and ease of any necessary returns.

Not particularly pleased that I pay $40+ for pants and return then with tags intact and receive $22 in a refund. This is a repeat occurrence. One would expect a full refund for unworn clothes that they are still selling.
