“One of my favorite Costco’s in the NYC area. So convenient to drive to from the city right just north of the 59th street bridge (queensboro) in Queens. Though the parking lot is quite small in comparisons to other costcos with parking, traffic can build in the lot quickly depending on the time of day. Overall, a great Costco!”

Parking: There is handicap as well as regular parking all over wherher you’re visiting Costco warehouse, he food court or having your car serviced.
Kid-friendliness: There are plenty tables with bench seating for all ages.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible if in a wheelchair.”
“I think Costco main number doesn’t connect to the tire center. Definitely call the number on the website that connects directly. I DO want to say that this is my favorite tire center. The service is excellent and I don’t ever feel talked down to or like I’m getting scammed. I’ve had my tires replaced 4-5 times here with a little convertible and an SUV on these rough NYC roads. And every time, everyone is really great and professional, even when it’s really busy. They spend time explaining things to people. It’s Brooklyn so they deal with all sorts of ethnicities and accents and attitudes, but everyone I’ve ever dealt with was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and you don’t feel like you’re going catch an attitude if you have questions. Prices are the best here too. Can’t say enough good things about the technicians here. Thanks Costco Tires!!”

“Still, some of the best prices/pricing on most items.
Some complain that they are single and it's not worth it for them. I point out the costs of needed supplies, such as detergents, toilet paper, vitamins, clothes, etc. They then reconsider.
I encourage them to do a price comparison - including transportation costs. For example, the local Foodtown grocery stores are outrageous with their prices, now. Even if in walking distance, we save on costs with the additional transportation costs of bus, car, Uber or taxi, and that's saying something!
Costco introduced a lemon blueberry loaf that is well LOVED! I overheard party-goers compliment the moistness, flavor, and texture of the loaves. Those were a hit!
It would be great if they experimented with serving carrot cake as they do in some other stores.
As you may know, they sell different products in different stores, so it pays to shop various Costco stores - even in different states.
Visit different Costcos in different areas unlike your local Costco. Make It an excursion with a few friends, but go on a weekday morning, preferably on a Thursday afternoon their supply drops on Wednesdays. Go to areas that are not like your area. One friend is an avid tennis player. In some stores they sell tennis balls. In others, they never have and never will.”
“a really cool coins and collectibles shop in astoria that has plenty of coins, paper currency, jewelry, antiques and other neat stuff for sale and buy with honest staff that will tell whats worth what. came on a friday afternoon to get some old usa coins and paper money from africa appraised . the coins value has slightly increased since my last visit to another coin place but the foreign paper money has not. i browsed around a bit after finding out my coins value might still keep me humble but what joy i had as soon as i saw a few old dc horror comics for save at 30 bucks each.. i enjoyed my visit and the gentleman who gave me a honest value report on my currency , told me to bring more stuff and get no pressure to buy or sell info. i will be back and see what my 2 dollar bills are worth.really cool shop in astoria that deserves another visit .”

“I would like to try to undo some of the damage that has been done to the Big & Cheap Warehouse through the many comments I have read on this page. Admittedly, the Warehouse messed up my order two times but, once I connected with them, they were kind, and extremely responsive . As a customer, I would like it to be easier to get in touch with the company but their kindness and admission of having made the mistake absolutely made up for the aggravation I had felt. The two people I spoke with were the most helpful and empathetic customer service people I have dealt with in a long while. Did they mess up ? Yes. “They have a wide range of bulk products that are usually cheaper in unit price than other stores like Costco or BJ's. Only recommendation I would say is if they add some kind of catalog to locate each item and where they are with respect to the huge store that would be helpful for customers to find what they need instead of looking for store associates, especially in the fridge section. Their store hours also could be extended after 4 pm, if posible, especially during winter, the day finishes by 4 pm most of the time.”
