This store is run like a criminal operation. I went there looking to upgrade my phone to the Apple IPhone and trade in my older phone. I spoke to the manager who I believe was named Carlos. I told him I wanted to buy an iPhone 14 max and he said he could order one and it would be delivered to his store in a few days. He also asked if I would be interested in free air tags as it was a promotion and would not cost me anything. I hesitated and told him only if there is no charge in any shape or form as I didn’t really need them. He assured me there would be no charge and then started to work on the order. As we were talking about the phone he asked to see my current phone and I noticed he opened up my email app and then opened up my latest email, scrolled to the bottom of it and scratched the back of his nail at the bottom of the open email. I asked did you sign something and there was no answer. We continued and he told me my I had to pay a deposit of 260.00 dollars on the phone. I gave him my credit card and he said I would be hearing from him in about 3 days.When I left the store I realized I had received o paperwork from them. When I got home I looked at my email from T-Mobile and it had multiple charges for 100 dollars for an up-tracker(?) and other charges. The phone deposit was 100 dollars the add on’s were 163.00 .Also I received emails from T-Mobile stating I was getting a new line. I also noticed my contract had a scratch in the signature box that I did not put there. I called the store on the next morning and told them I wanted the entire transaction canceled and my reasons for it. The manager said he hadn’t signed my contract just checked an ok box. ( there is no ok box on the contract) I also called T-Mobile and told them of my cancellation. I am now 3 weeks later having trouble with my bill. My credit card was not refunded because T-Mobile said they hadn’t received the phone back from the store and I wouldn’t receive the refund until they received the phone back from the store! I just got an Email from T-Mobile asking for my old phone, evidently they didn’t tell T-Mobile I wasn’t trading in my phone. I could go on but.I dislike writing a bad review but feel an obligation to warn others of the dishonest business practices of this T-Mobile store located at 132 09 14 Ave Collage Point.

Deceived, ripped off and embarrassed. I have been going to this store since it opened when it was Sprint that knew how to treat its customers much better. I was embarrassed and completely ripped off and lied to. T-Mobile kept sending me offer after offer to upgrade my smartwatch 4 to the new one 6. FREESamsung Galaxy Watch6With 24 monthly bill credits when you add a qualifying line. For well-qualified customers; plus, tax. It was a 20 min wait to get to the counter. I asked the girl before we started she said just add a line and I only pay the tax. While there a nice lady asked about the old watch, I thought it was required for trade in which it wasn't, so I gave it to her. It took the girl over an hour to process the order then the customers behind me started cursing me! I was horrified by the whole experience and have been a customer since 1997. T-Mobilee is horrible compared to spring. It is criminal what they charged me!! Oct 10 T-MOBILE STORE # 4LSP - COLLEGE POINT NY $223.82

I do not recommend this store, I had a horrible experience here to replace my phone I had ordered it through T-Mobile on the phone and they shipped it to this store and I was supposed to get a call when it came, a week later no call from them so I went to the store it was there and then after waiting an hour to replace it the guy looks at the phone and refused to exchange it after T-Mobile already authorized the replacement because there was a tiny scratch on the screen and he kept saying it was a scratch meanwhile it wasn’t so the store canceled the replacement and the guy was very nasty and rude didn’t catch his name but he kept raising his voice with a attitude and wouldn’t let me talk so I left and called T-Mobile corporate and they kept telling me there was no insurance claim in the phone so I told him to cancel the insurance that I pay for every month and he was pretending he couldn’t hear me and then I asked to speak to a supervisor and he kept ignoring me and pushing the question off, long story short I finally got the supervisor on the phone and they made arrangements to ship it to my house but what is the point of going through all of that to get a insurance replacement definitely not going back to this store

Carlos the manager was the most rudest person ever to my wife yesterday, 17 August my wife went inside. She is authorized on my account and he said that he cannot check none of that worst place ever Carlos as a manager was very horrible.

DO NOT HAVE T-MOBILE SHIP YOUR REPLACMENT PHONE TO THIS LOCATION… Long story short, my Samsung S21 ultra would not power up, I contacted T-Mobile they agreed to ship me a replacement phone to this 14th Avenue store. I originally asked them to ship it to my house, but they insisted it was better to ship it to the store in the event the phone arrived damaged. I waited two days for the phone to arrive at the store and when I went to pick up the phone at 6pm on 8/3/23 after I received confirmation it was there, I arrived with my wife and kids as I was going to upgrade their phone as well, however after an hour of waiting around with the manager fiddling around with the damaged phone he then decides to tell me he would not process the replacement as he could not access the phone to factory reset it. I told him the phone has mechanical issue and T-Mobile agreed to replace it as I had their top insurance plan, and the replacement phone was already shipped to the site. He would not budge and told me he didn’t want to be responsible for a charge back for failing to factory reset the phone before shipment and told me to have it shipped to another store!I then immediately contacted T-Mobile who said that was ridiculous, they agreed to contact the manager and send him the paperwork for the return and T-Mobiles policy paperwork explicitly stating that factory resets are not required for mechanical failures. As I waited on hold for 40 mins, the T-Mobile rep came back on the line and stated that manager was the most belligerent individual he has ever dealt with and that the manager hung up on him 3 times, the T-Mobile rep said he, himself was going to file a formal complaint against the store location and the manager. This location is not abiding by T-Mobile policies and should not be a certified to represent as such. The rep then agreed to have a new phone shipped to my house which I now have to wait another two days for, so now I’m out of a phone for nearly a week because this manger failed to follow t-mobiles policy and procedures. THANKS T-MOBILE! P.S. I have been a customer for over 15 years!Update: You will notice Silvia Veliz wrote a fake review immediately after the "owner" responded to my comment... you will notice most of these review for this store are fake! Stay away!

Poor service, uncaring and even rude reps. Some just sit and look at their phones. They told me to call the number to get the service I needed because they were unable to access my account. So I called from the store. The customer service rep asked to speak with the store manager, Carlos, and he refused to speak with her. She found this appalling and apologized to me for the store even though she had nothing to do with it. In short, this store just wants to sell you a phone and then it wants you out of there.

Absolute mess when trying to open a new plan for Black Friday in November 2022. Almost none of the discounts for trading in were applied correctly for our phones causing issues for months and hours on line with customer service. Because of the mixups, we were also unable to receive the rest of the promotions tied with opening a new plan with T-Mobile. Please go to another location to receive better service; T-Mobile as a carrier is great but this location is unfortunately not a representation of their company as a whole.

The manager was totally rude ,not helpful,and did not want to replace my unlimited screen protector……went to the T mobile on 1822 college point blvd ,they changed it without any problems.——very friendly store.The manager guy was on a power trip(for No reason)the other lady worker was checking to see if she can help me but he like——-“He said No ,that mean No”——go to another store .Stay Far Away…..

Worst tmobile experience!!!! I been with tmobile for almost 15 years and IF I CAN GIVE THEM 0 STARTS I WOULD DO IT.. THIS STORE IS THE WORST... I came to update my device and I totally understand they need to make sure the device I am treading in has to be in good conditions so they removed my screen protector but after that they asked me for a deposit I couldn't afford to pay at the moment. When they gave me the phone back the screen protector look like they crumbled it up and I saw when I got in the car. Went back to tell them and THEY CANT DO ANYTHING because they dnt have it in store. I asked to speak to a manager which there was no manager they called idk who ""JOE"" very rude didn't let me speak which I had to speak over him screamed at me over the phone and did nothing but to tell me they can't do anything.once he finished talking he tells the girl what works at tmobile okay if you have to call the police. REALLY???NEVER AGAIN IN THAT STORE.... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

If you're a foreigner you can't buy a mobile phone here because you have to buy the connection with the mobile it is mandatory in here. Other than that you can buy accessories from here.

Don't trust them,The put people on plans better for the store.They have made people pay more for their lines.It's a shady business, wouldn't live off the commission they get.
