Trust your algorithm! I searched up best transmission shop in nyc and NYTG popped up. Jeff and his team are A1; I have full TRUST in them going forward. Money well spent and WORTHY of it. Don’t hesitate you’ll regret not going to them.

2016 Chevy Traverse Definitely took longer then originally intended to but I’m very pleased that they insisted on keeping the car until they felt the issues with the Transmission where 100% Resolved I personally believe any other transmission shop would have probably just claimed they fixed the issue and then shooed me Away But not these guys very people friendly and they 100% Stand by there work which comes with a 2 year Warranty and they fixed my Exhaust Leak at no charge!!!
I would highly recommend these guys to any family members,friends,or even coworkers

I had a transmission failure in my 2007 Ford and their team fixed it for me 👍. They also told me all the problems that my car might have. The manager Kevin was very polite to me. Their team is very professional. The owner is very warm and friendly. I felt very relieved when my car was sent to New York Transmission Group (NYTG) and Reliable Transmissions. A true 5-star auto repair shop in New York. The repair was completed on time and efficiently. Thank you NYTG and Reliable Transmissions, I will definitely recommend their shop to anyone around me

Bringing in my 2008 CRV with 317K millege on it for a transmission repair cost evaluation. Jeff and his team have given me their professional advice and other options to go with. Although eventually I decide not to fix, I know in the future if I have any transmission problem, I will go with them first. Thanks again.

I have a 1965 Thunderbird convertible. The car is fully detailed and is "my baby". I fix everything that my car needs right away and the rear seal on my transmission started to leak. The mechanic that I use for my family car did not feel comfortable working on my classic car so I started to search for a transmission repair shop that works on classic cars. It's not that easy to find. After many calls, one repair shop stood out way above the rest. It was New York Transmission Group. Jeff, the owner, answered the phone himself just like I did when I owned my company. I liked that. There was no doubt in my mind that Jeff knew exactly what I needed and how to do it. From the moment I pulled into his shop I knew I was in good hands. Jeff did not do the repair himself but paid attention to the repair from the beginning to completion. He is a real "hands on" guy. I liked that too.
A big plus is that Jeff does much more than transmission work and works on all cars, new and classics. Business owners know how difficult it is to run an honest business and Jeff came through with flying colors. New York Transmission Group is now my go to repair shop for any repairs to all my cars.
I did the hard work of finding a honest auto repair shop that knows their stuff. You can thank me later and please say hello to Jeff.

Great service. They replaced the transmission of my promaster 2500, and now the vehicle runs like a new. Also, they offer a 2-year warranty on labor.

The owner of NYTG is a decent and trustable man! I brought my Camry to the shop this morning, Jeff and his man help me to diagnose and fix the transmission software issue in less than 30mins,and did the road test as well,Amazing!!! Best experience I’ve ever had. So,if your car have any issue with transmission go to NYTG is your best shot,unless you want to waste time and money in other places. Go ahead give them a call or bring your car to Jeff directly I’m very sure he and his team going to taking a good care of you!

Thank you for your understanding and great service. We have been holding my niece’s car for over a year and since she was coming home, we jump started the car and all lights were flashing on the dashboard and the car sounded terrible. Jeff and Cary had the car picked up and 1week later it was running great and they even had it detailed.
I can’t wait for my niece to return next week to see if. Great job Jeff & Cary.
