Caitlin at drug world is so fantastic and approachable!!!! I had 2 urgent requests from my children at a camp nearby and she was on top of it!y child's slides broke and it was the only pair he had, after the camp measured his foot, Caitlin hand delivered Crocs to him and now he is able to continue playing and having fun! My little one had long hair and wrote to me that she is out of detangler, Caitlin sprung right in and now my daughter has what she needs. Affordable, reliable, I could not be happier with a service that took my headache and made it their pleasure!!!!

Discrimination of the most disgusting kind. I went to fill a script and the pharmacist said he had the medication but “…to be honest, i have regular customers who will need a refill this week or next.”This is not a membership-required club - I’ve been shopping there for 10 years I just don’t fill many prescriptions. But apparently they have a policy of prioritizing certain customers. And to be clear - I’m not flagged as a problematic customer - they were very clear that if I spent more money there, my script would be more of a priority. I suggested he call the manager - he threatened to call the police. Unbelievable.

Drug World of Cold Spring does not fill prescriptions on a first come, first serve basis. They are very clear that it is company policy to decide how they want to use their inventory. My doctor called and they told him they would fill my prescription- then I went to the store and they said they could...but wouldn't as they are expecting more regular customers to come in with prescriptions and they were saving their inventory for those customers. My 10 year old was with me and was in complete shock as the way the pharmacist behaved. The owner did call me and apologize for the way the pharmacist behaved and assured me there was no religious, economic or other discrimination underlying their decision not to fill my prescription. Nonetheless, they will still not waste their inventory on me. So much for trying to support a local business (where I have shopped for 10 years). I will never step foot inside drug world ever again.

Bought a travel nail clipper from here that turned out to be clearly defective - returned to the store 3 weeks after buying with the receipt and original packaging - not for a refund, but to pay the difference on a better, more expensive one - only to be flatly refused. I was told they had a 2 week return policy (not on the receipt). This was during the holidays when a lot of people travel. Just unacceptable, small minded, non-customer friendly experience.

I would like to say my wife and I are always looking to support local stores and don't mind paying for convenience. That said, there are expectations of friendly knowledgeable staff for services. On multiple occasions, my wife and I have had interaction with staff whom we just rude. Everyone has bad days but, being professional is always appreciated. I'm writing this review to give constructive feedback, and will continue to shop there as needed. Cheers E

I like small businesses but this place consistently is out of medications. My last experience with them I filled a prescription and they told me they only had 2/3s of my prescription on hand but that I could come back and get the rest at a later date, I was also told that I had payed for the full prescription. When I contacted them to pick up the remaining medicine they informed me they couldn't give it to me and that despite what I had been told I hadn't payed for the full amount even though the person who I payed assured me that I had and could collect my medicine when they restocked. Now I am jumping through hoops to get my physician to make a refill of my prescription early and having to explain everything to him. Needless to say I will not be getting further prescriptions filled here, this has happened with my fiances breathing medicine more than once there. I guess CVS just got another customer.

Why go to a a big box pharmacy(Rite Aid ,CVS) when you have a quality, friendly neighborhood pharmacy right here in Cold Spring .For years Drug World has been here supporting our community with a professional friendly staff that treats each customer as tho they are family. Sharon the manager is always there to help you find what you are looking for , if it's not there she will make an effort to try to get it for you . Joann the pharmacist is friendly and professional with a bit of motherly caring , truly concerned and always there with great advice . In trying times past and present its nice to know that we have Drug World and its amazing staff to guide us through , and always with a smile .
