We live in Florida but make it a point to stop in whenever we visit and see all of the beautiful items Tim brings in. Such quality, unique items- can’t wait to come back!

This is what shopping is all about. Lots of unique and one of a kind items, some old, many new but all with that nostalgia feel. And your host, Tim has a story for everything. I walked through the shop three times and discovered new items every time. We will be back for sure. Keep up the good work Tim, you are doing great.

This store is so busy in the warmer months, so I will thrilled to pop in on a cold weekday because it gave me time to really look around. Tim, the owner, was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. He even put water in a vintage cocktail shaker to make sure it wouldn't leak. There is something for everyone and not something you will find just anywhere. He requests that you don't take photos in the shop as to protect the artisans and their work. Given the number of poor-quality knock-offs that appear on Amazon and elsewhere, I appreciate that. Want to see what they have, their IG is pretty good. Definitely a great escape from the city given all of the shops and cafés/restaurants that are open all year.

What a very fun collection of carefully curated items! I ended up with a fabulous, heavy, wrought iron lion's head door knocker, which will eventually grace the door of my next house. There's all manner of fun household items, huge wall clocks, pillows, hostess-gift type things, old knives, etc. The owners, who don't allow photographs inside the store, were friendly and informative. They clearly enjoy scouting objects for their store. The variety of home decor items is definitely worth browsing. I didn't know that I needed a door knocker until I saw this one. And it was very reasonably priced, too. A great place to spend a half hour or so, if you're in Cold Spring.

A thousand stars for Archipelago. I love this place. Beautiful esoterica, unique home goods. If you like clocks (or other methods of timekeeping), stop in. If you like craftsmanship, stop in. If you have a friend that you want to get something unique for that they probably wouldn't purchase (or ever see) for themselves, come here. It is my favorite store in Cold Spring.

I live in New York but would come to Cold Spring just to visit this lovely store. The owner is super friendly and extremely helpful. I’ve shopped here in person and remotely many times through the years. The owner would send me photos of items I like and carefully pack it and ship to me in New York. The store is full of unusual and beautiful items, perfect for home decor and personal collection!!

Great store, rude owner. Was browsing with a friend- I suppose a little too long..?- when the owner actually said, "Ladies, this isn't a museum". It was really quite shocking and kind of ruined the tone of the day.
