They told me my total was $175 and I asked even if I use my debit card will it still be that price she said yes. and the receipt that she literally signed my initial with said $175 but I looked now look at my bank statement it says $181.56. And they didn’t give my kitten an e collar after surgery so he is constantly licking himself

My cat passed away after getting fixed. A male cat. Ended up throwing up piss, blood , a mixture of stuff in my one year old daughter’s room. He took his last breath in my arms. This was in march 2023

It's hard being a responsible owner when vets want to charge too much for procedures and then refuse certain animals. My cats are 10 months old but I made the mistake of rounding up and telling them they were a year old. So they won't spade them. Ridiculous

Staff are very kind and the expenses are affordable. My cat has been neutered and has had his vaccines here. There are no problems and he's very healthy :)

I took my 1 year old cat here to be spayed a couple of days ago. It took a but longer than I had thought it would to hear back, though I was under the impression it was only due to the amount of procedures being done that day. Upon receiving the call and understanding the potential risks of any surgery, I was told that there were complications with the anesthesia and she unfortunately did not make it through the procedure. Obviously devastated to hear that I had just lost my cat, I could sense no compassion at all from the doctor as he juet told me it happens to 1 cat every 5 years at their clinic, that it was unfortunate and to go pick her up at my convenience. A few minutes away from the clinic, almost an hour after receiving the news, I received yet another call from them; this time telling there had been a mix up with 2 cats and that mine was actually okay and ready to be picked up. I know mistakes happen, but I do not, and will not understand how you can call the owners and deliver such horrible news without being 100% sure that it was the right cat. There was no direct apology, only an “at least we were able to tell you the good news,” “here’s her pain medication, and your bill for today,” and a very distasteful joke “you can call her Lazarus, she came back from the dead.” Though I am so incredibly thankful she’s okay, I cannot begin to imagine how the owners of that other poor cat are feeling. To get a phone call saying your cat is ready to be picked up, arriving there only to most likely be handed a cat that does not belong to you and watch the realization hit when you tell them that that cat is not yours, and be told there was a mix up and your cat had actually passed during the surgery. I can’t even describe the emotional stress this has put me and the other owner through. I will be cancelling my appointment for my other cat, and think this will be my first and only time going there. Do better so that this does not happen to any body else.

Do not bring your cat here. If i could give 0 stars i would. A peer of mines cat was killed during an operation. They were not informed before going to pick up their cat, at time of pick-up, they were given the wrong cat. Once they said " this is not my cat", they were informed their cat didnt make it through the procedure. WOW JUST WRONG.

Dr. Blackmore and his staff are great! Lovely, quaint setting in the country with a happy friendly dog to greet me along with two cats.

We love Dr. Blackmore. We had an 18 year old cat who needed a gentle ending, and Jeanne and Dr. Blackmore , with empathy towards us, gave it to him. He and Jeanne are very caring vets and we can't appreciate them enough!!!

Remarkable welcoming committee! Little Grace, the black and white collie, was such a sweetheart! The nurse was such a very kind and caring woman and made me real comfortable about leaving my kitten there to be neutered. The process was quick and easy. A couple hours later and I was back home with my kitten.Overall, there's nothing negative I could say about this place. Everything was above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend them. The incision and stitches looked incredibly professional. I could barely tell anything there was ever cut and stitched.Big bonus: It's the cheapest place I could find in the area to have my cat neutered. I think it was like $150 with taxes and everything said and done. I opted out of a couple things, so the price wasn't as high if you had gotten pain meds for your pet and whatever else. Luckily, my little guy bounced back that evening and was wrecking havoc at 2 AM while I tried to sleep, so he didn't need any pain meds.(To the Dr. and nurse: Y'all were a huge help to me and I appreciate all the advice and help y'all have given me. Thank you both!)

Awesome experience. Nice and laid back woman, you can tell she loves animals. Beautiful area, beautiful house, cozy and shaded. Surgery took maybe 3 hours. Oh and of course the nice greeting dog and cat ?. Low price and genuine people.
