This is a good store that has good household goods section, media, art and sporting goods. The great majority of the store is clothing well organized. They have limited hours for donations so call on advance otherwise you will be turned away.

This is a small Salvation Army thrift store housed in an old Agway store. It’s mostly clothes and miscellaneous housewares with little to no furniture items.

Hi,
I'm a 76-year-old Vietnam veteran and I stopped at the Salvation Army store in Latham about 2-3 times a week and I feel that I have to recognize one of your employees.
No matter how busy it is at the register, an employee named Veronica is always friendly , efficient and most importantly, she is ALWAYS HAPPY. Not only is that rare, it is something that the Salvation Army management should reward.
I took the time to write this review and I hope that SA takes the time to recognize such a wonderful employee.

I’ve donated for years inWNY area. No concerns. This store is either closed, met their limited for the day (??), or only take particular items. Hard for me to understand when there are so many that benefit from the donations people GIVE. I will continue to donate with the limitations.

The prices have gone up so much that I don’t really enjoy going in here anymore. I have a feeling that all of the best items that come in as donations never see the light of day on any of the shelves.

I honestly felt dirty when I left there. It is poorly cleaned, items were dusty, and very disorganized. Will never be going back here.

The staff there is rude obnoxious we live in Clifton Park you pay high taxes they only take donations between 9 and 4:00 what about people that work they don't take more weekends they only take certain things you go in there to speak to the people and they're rude to you people do have jobs past 4:00 people do need to drop off stuff this is supposed to be a place where they give to people for the needy and stop charging so much they should be giving it away to people and they should be taking what they can ridiculous that place is a joke the one in Latham is much better much nicer and Lisa open and will take your stuff that they will give to people staffing Clifton Park is just rude
