For all the bad reviews, I see they are all from out of the area, or even the state for that matter. I am as well from out of the area, have been going into Rak's for years and have never encountered anyone that works there as is described. The oldest individual that runs the business is in her 40's and has never been "nasty". The store is exactly that. Full of things that vacationer's may be looking for just to get while they are on vacation. It's called having fun. There is no one that works there that would yell at anyone for being on a cell phone. Also, I know Colleen personally and she would not accuse a customer of ripping their shirt in another store if, it indeed, had happened in her store. These reviews are either over exaggerated or should be applied to other facilities.

i've never felt so unwelcomed and disrespected in a store in my life. my boyfriend and i were checking out the store with the intensions of buying hats and hoodies. my boyfriend tried to take a photo of me wearing a funny hat and the elder curly haired woman behind the register yelled from across the store "Don't take pictures in my store, especially if you aren't gonna buy anything." I couldn't believe how someone working at a vacation store could be so sad and bitter. that is not the way you approach people. no wonder there are so many bad reviews on this shop. will never spend my money here, so glad she showed her true colors. i will be informing all my friends on the island about this unfriendly shop.

Great shopping experience ! Friendly staff, extremely clean and Covid compliant. Awesome merchandise available in store! Even have a hot dog cart if you need a quick snack ! I recommend 110%

If I could leave zero stars I would. I'm am absolutely appalled at how I was treated. I had my shoes picked out, my friend was still shopping, they didn't have the color and size in another pair I wanted so I was just browsing online at other color options while waiting for my friend to finish shopping so we could check out. The owner approached me and yelled at me for being on my phone online shopping in her store. I said mam I'm actually not shopping just looking at other options which you don't even offer! We put our items away as we aren't supporting someone like that and I said we we're going to buy 3 pairs of shoes today to which she said "don't worry losing your sale won't hurt me". Little does she know this was my 3rd visit to her store in 4 days. She's lost our business forever.

I stopped into Raks this past Sunday with my husband and small dog. I was pleasantly surprised that they were pet friendly and very thankful for that as my little guy couldn't be left alone in our hotel. I ended up purchasing a couple of items. Prices were reasonable and customer service was excellent. The girls working were very sweet. This is definitely my favorite store in Clayton!! I highly recommend! Can't wait to go back next year.

Love all the little trinkets. They are so sweet there. Last summer I bought things to send to my sister while she was on Radiation and Chemo the staff was so kind and helpful.
