Hands down the best vet. You can tell they care about your pets more than money, and its a great feeling of comfort.

THANK GOD this place is closing. I’m a young adult in a two income household, my significant other is in college and funds are tight. We came in last week to check on one of my cats who has been having a consistent eye infection and hearing issues. The veterinarian comes in, basically just examined my cat physically and let me know that she’s “completely fine”. He found quite a bit of wax in her ears, did NOT clean it out, and told me the reason that she consistently stares at the ceiling and doesn’t respond regularly to auditory noises is because “she’s seeing things that I cannot see”. He also told me that her eye was great and did not seem aggravated. As the appointment is wrapping up, he tells me she’s due for a vaccine. I told him I’m on a tight budget and would rather wait until sometime the following week. He countered me and told me that the vaccine wouldn’t “up the cost too much”. I walked out of that place almost paying two hundred bucks with my mind blown away. Fast forward I’m sitting here at home and my cats eye is just completely swollen. I’m incredibly aggravated with the care that my animals have received here. This place has become nothing but a vaccination clinic.

This vet used to be amazing back when Dr. Davis worked here. Ever since he retired though it has gone consistently downhill. Most of the time it's impossible to get any sort of call back from these guys regardless of the severity of your situation. If you have an emergency you think you'd be able to get in quickly but you'd be wrong. Regardless of what's going on they are almost always booked SIX WEEKS out. And on top of that they're now only open FOUR days a week. This has been going on for years and you think by now they'd have found a better way to book patients sooner. All they do though is tell you to go to an emergency vet that has no funding so even the slightest sort of treatment will leave you spending thousands of dollars and waiting for hours just to be seen. I've been with this vet for over 10 years but after everything that's happened I think it's time for me and this vet to part ways. Definitely going to be looking for another vet and I suggest anyone looking for one as well to avoid this one.

Everyone was very kind, caring and companionate. We were listened to and our questions were answered very concisely.

I know there aren't a lot of options out there post-covid, everywhere is booked. If you can help it at all, even if you have to drive an hour or more away, steer completely clear of this place. It would take less time to say what's right with the place, which might be 1 or 2 receptionists. It's not even feasible to learn the hardway here. Your pet deserves people with empathy and a consience and this is 100% a business - I will post more later. I'm sure someone will comment on this pretending they know what I'm talking about. I actually haven't even complained to them, so they very much won't even know who this is. The prior owner might not have been perfect but he absolutely had a consience and cared about the animals, and their family (the humans) and how people were spoken to about their family members (pets)... I'll give details later. This has nothing to do with money, I'm just acknowledging it's all they care about. Some ppl choose to work here bc they aren't good with people. This is even more of a people business than probably seeing a regular physician - people care about their family which includes pets and sociopaths can't and won't get by in a place like this. At least not without complaints. They won't lose too much business any time soon bc there just aren't enough providers but every patient matters so if they can lose your business, they do feel that - and it helps send the message to management that they need to begin caring if they want a good public imagine, if not a better business. If you really want to line your pockets, be nice to people. I'm considering posting in a more public place.

After years of coming to this vet. Not making an appointment for 3 months they took us off the books. They only care about the cash! Not long time customer. They will just take your cash and not care about your pets or loyalty. Beware of this place!

Are the services that they provide a family and their pet is superb! They answer the phone quickly and are able to fit you in for emergencies. They are very responsive to your questions and your needs and take good care of your pets. They even did an exceptional job when our dog had an allergic reaction to a vaccination. Visit this location for great service for you and your pets.

5 star review due to outstanding staff, friendly, professional, attentive to my pet's needs. 5 star review for an outstanding vet that treated my pet. He was patient, kind, and super friendly. Most of all, he was 100 percent accurate in my pet's diagnosis. Highly recommend anyone looking for outstanding pet care to visit CNY Vet Services.

this vet hospital doesn't truly care about their patients. they ignored the warning signs and almost killed our dog. in the end, what they did caused his time to be cut shorter than it would have been. they then callously discharged us and said find a specialist. this place went to hell when Dr Davis left. he was a great vet. don't bring your animals here.

We have been going to CNY veterinary services at animal kingdom for almost a yr now. Dr Darrington and staff are the best. Our old cranky pit mix loves Dr D and he likes no one. Lol. Our other fur babe likes it there too. Staff is always kind and courteous. I would highly recommend them.

I certainly agree with those who feel that this place has gone down hill since Dr. Davis left! It’s a shame! All my dogs have gone here for the past 15+ years. I called yesterday because my dog wasn’t eating or feeling well and I witnessed him having a seizure. I was told I would get a call back…….. almost 5 hours later, the call came and I was told that I can get him in in January!?, because they’re booked out until then. Really?, a technician couldn’t draw blood work?! What the hell is wrong with this place? They have been short staffed since last year! My other vet hired by Dr. Davis just left the practice unannounced one day. It seems that this facility has turned into nothing but a vaccination clinic! I was recently told by 2 former employees that the boarding situation is not good as well. They are left in the kennels and the extra walks and playtime are not given, for which you pay extra. It seems as though this facility is quickly declining and in much need of new management, staff and respect for those who have loyally brought their pets there for many years! We all miss Dr. Davis, a true, caring and loyal veterinarian! You should all take notes! I don’t want to hear that you’re short staffed! I don’t want to hear that you’re working on the situation! It has been a repeated excuse for too long! Do something about it and do something for your long time customers!

I am so saddened to see CNY Veterinary Service go down hill. I have lived in Clay for 34 years and have brought my cats to this facility for the entire time. Dr. Davis is awesome and the most respectful Vet I have ever met! He took care of my pets until he left. When he left, Dr. Honeycutt was also good but he suddenly left. A month ago, I had a traumatic experience while having my two year old Mickey's nails cut at a grooming place. He suddenly died in my arms and I will never forget holding him while I am screaming for help inside a store. It wasn't the groomers fault, everything went perfectly fine with the nail cut. As distraught as I was, I drove to CNY Vet and was placed in a room with my poor dead Mickey crying my eyes out. I was told the Dr. would be right with me... well apparently I wasn't important enough to be paid attention to. I waited and waited and waited... finally he came in, checked his heart and said "not sure what happened, he just had a physical in July". The compassion just wasn't there with the staff... A week ago, I was given a new kitten and called for an appointment. I was told I couldn't get an appointment until January 2022 because I was a new patient. I'VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR 34 YEARS! HOW CAN I BE CONSIDERED A NEW PATIENT???Needless to say I found a new Vet and when I called to have my other cat's records transferred to the new Vet, a young lady said ok I will send them. I said "don't you want to know why?" She said "No that's ok". I said NO IT'S NOT OK AND HUNG UP. Please get Dr. Davis back to this Veterinary Service! Thank you for letting me vent...
