They NEVER answer the phone. Ever. Then the front desk gets contacted and they are expected to take a message. What? No call backs. BJs, how about at least investing in an old fashioned answering machine. Which business model is it that deploys “don’t answer the phone”? I’d give zero stars if it was an option.

I def think it's worth the membership except it kinda lacks a little bit more variety in cleaning and other bathroom/kitchen needs

Do not shop here!! I've been trying to get in touch with a supervisor for over 2 weeks to return a defective item. They have not returned phone calls or emails. Do not trust this company.

When I had a flat I called about repair under their "Lifetime Road Hazard Warranty' and was informed that the Lifetime warranty was only good for three years. I use winter tires and the tires I purchased from BJs have plenty of tread left on them, even though they were purchased 3 1/2 years ago. I checked my sales receipt and it clearly states 'Lifetime' on the front but states 'Limited Lifetime' in a long disclaimer on the back. I thought about arguing with them about their 'Warranty' but decided that even if I could convince them to do the repair I would not trust them to do it properly. Needles to say I am angry with BJs and will never do business with them again.

My experience at BJ’s last Saturday what is the worst experience I’ve ever endured in my whole life I had $800 worth of groceries in my cart Went to cash out when they scan my card which I bought in March 2021 they said I needed to go to the front office went upfront they said my card was expired I no longer could use it went to the head manager she said you go ahead and use that card I will waive the search charges she came over to the cashier and told her to go ahead checked out all my groceries I came to $878 the surcharge was $132 and when the cashier called for someone to wave the surcharge no one could . So my husband said can I just get a card in his name so we could check out she said no im sorry we can not help you . We took our time out to stock up on groceries and can’t get them very disappointment so very happy to let you Know we went to Costco‘s and spent our money there and they were very Pleasant to us to take our $900 sorry BJs you made a big mistake Terry Reynolds

I am a nurse and began my membership earlier this year. Late spring I started researching tires for my car. I finally decided on BJ's as the value and service seemed well worth the money. The installation went well and I was pleased. The problem starts a week ago, on my birthday no less. I noticed one tire had a slow leak so I took it into my local BJ's as the tires came with a road hazard warranty. When I arrived, they said I'd have to make an appointment. Not ideal since the leak was happening now, but ok.I came back later and after a little wait, the technician showed me the leak and it was in an area that couldn't be patched. After he struggled with the computer system trying to figure out the warranty (which based on my years of management experience looked exactly like a lack of proper training), he finally told me I was fully covered. Great, right? No. He did not have the tire in stock and would need to order it. It was Wednesday before Thanksgiving and he assured me it would be in by Saturday at the latest.Sadly, my tire was leaking to the point I was filling it daily. So on Thanksgiving, I put my spare on.Saturday came and went, as did Sunday and Monday. I called on Tuesday. After about 5 minutes of ringing, my call got bounced to the service desk who connected me to someone in tires. I explained why I was calling and he asked my name. That didn't help. He couldn't find my invoice. He asked for the part number from my copy of the invoice. He stated the tire was in. I asked when it came in as I've been waiting on a call. His response was that it must have been today. Right! Although, after he couldn't even find my invoice, I truly doubt I would ever have gotten a call. Now the most disappointing part of the call came. He told me I could come in December 8th to have the new tire put on. That's a whole week away! Do you know how long you should drive on a spare? 50 miles. And I have done that daily since Thanksgiving. How good is a warranty if it takes 2 weeks to actually get the final benefit? It's sad that after my initial investment of over $600, I'm no longer treated as an important customer.I have purchased tires elsewhere in the past, and when it came time to use the warranty, the process was just about seamless. That is what one should expect. When I spend my money, whether $1 or $1000, I like to know I'm spending it where I am appreciated. The more a business shows they value me as a customer, the more I will shop there AND the more I share my opinions with my family, friends, co-workers and others with whom I come in contact. Conversely, when I am treated poorly, I also share my experience with others.Whether it be increased staffing, computer upgrades, stronger training, more accessibility/appointments specifically for urgent cases or any combination thereof, your customer service as a whole needs improvement. As of Thursday, I will be driving on my spare for 1 week. This is not only bad for the spare, but the vehicle as a whole. Additionally, it's starting to snow in the northeast. Spare tires are not designed for that; the tires I paid over $600 for are. Therefore, I need this fixed immediately, not in another week.
