I used to love corn ice cream when I lived in China (you can get these tasty corncob shaped ice cream novelties at convenience stores there) and I wanted to try the real-deal fresh-produce version. If you're in the Albany area, do yourself a favor and make the trip. The subtle, summery sweet corn ice was delicious, but the goat cheese and raspberry was also excellent, and the friendly young staff was handling the crowd with aplomb. Pick up some plants or produce while you're there, or just hang out at a picnic table and enjoy the summer weather while it lasts.”

The in-store bakery produces a stunning array of fresh-baked treats from pound cake to pretzels. The meat case made me drool and I can't think of anywhere else I can find Northwind Farm ribeyes, which are incredible. The curation of imported goods, combined with on-farm preserves, produce, etc, is unique. Definitely worth a detour.”
“Phenomenal place, great people, helpful advice. I ordered topsoil and mulch during the busiest part of the season and they got it to me the next day. My flowerbeds are so happy!”
“Great place for a variety of different items. Plants, propane tank refills for the grill, special order dog foods, and a number of other items. Brian and Rita are always helpful and friendly, as are the younger staff members. I also like the basic layout of the store. It's logical and easy to find what you need. The parking spots are a little crooked and not a lot of parking spaces. I've never had a problem with parking here, but I have seen it filled up on several occasions.”
