Nice location, but the hotel was not worth $80, cash only. Service and room sucked. Nothing special. No soaps or stuff in bathroom either. If it wasn't raining and I wasn't stranded with nowhere else to go I would have never stayed. It's the place DSS puts homeless overflow when the shelter is full. The desk staff was rude. The cleaning lady was nice.Walkability: Right by tim-hortons and Starbucks and rite-aid and Walgreens and a crosbeys gas station. Good location.

Service? Didn't get any because I didn't stay long. Room was nasty,cold,dirty sheets and toilet was ?? I also felt like I was being watched. When I'm a Billionaire nobody will have to stay in a room like that ever again. Location was 45 minutes from my kids school but when I find my own home I'm going to be real close to them cause gas is expensive.

Do not stay here!!! This place is so gross. Dirty and smelly. Outdated, zero stars if possible. Unfriendly staff. Paper thin walls, you can hear everything from the people in the next room. Terrible!

Just like many others I found the gentleman at the front desk to be very kind but the actual rooms are really bad. Smells of smoke (even though they are non-smoking rooms), refrigerator is old, the TV is as big as my laptop screen, the closet door was spray painted blue, the bathroom looks like it is from a prison, and the whole vibe is straight out of a dusty western town. False advertising for free breakfast as well since they don’t offer that anymore. Won’t stay here again. It’s cheaper but not worth saving money for.

Very nice man at the front desk. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke which was unpleasant. The bed was comfortable and I liked the litte fridge in the room. The shower door had some black stuff on the bottom glass area so I avoided the shower. Cigarette burn marks in the bed spread. I hope customers obey the nonsmoking rule, but I guessing they don't. The guy at the dest was great!The price was good.

The place is dirty. We stuck it out because we were only going to stay one night, but the urge to flee was strong. It smelled of cigarette smoke, had flies buzzing around, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, a number of missing light bulbs. Also a general creepy feel to the place.

My room had a fireplace, jetted tub, king bed. But they built the rooms weird. You'll never use the fireplace area, also the glass was BLACK with soot. And the tub isn't in the main area like you would expect. It's kind of plain and in the bathroom with the toilet that won't stop flushing. Room smelled of smoke SO bad I used most of my cologne to make it live-able. We had the window open too ALL DAY. Pool is closed. I bet this place had its heyday in the 80's and slowly went downhill since. The owner was super nice though. Since there are 1 million places the stay in this price range and you could literally go anywhere else, I would not recommend it. Wife gave it 1 star, I gave it 2. Checked out and went to The Delavan the next day. Felt super spoiled over there. Paid 50 more to live like rockstars. -----Don't be cheap, spoil yourself-----

Owner was not overly friendly welcoming. Room was large whirlpool tub bouns outdated. Everything from rug to upholstery on furniture to the mirrored corner bar area. Fireplace gas In room didn't work. Limited toiletries and towels. Room smelled like a wet husky. Air-conditioner needs clean musky, moldy smelling. There is a pool not filled along with a huge seated got tub, not in use. A sitting area gazebo and small fireplace area also. Appears to have been a honeymoon destination at one time. The place is a dive nothing like it shows on line, false advertisement. It's dirty, smells, there was broken outlets, the stove was nasty, the white cupboards had yellow tint to them the walls had stuff on them, the ceiling in the bathroom had black spots & peeling paint above the lights over the mirror, the ice bucket was dirty, the pool was empty, there was no breakfast or coffee, etc..... This place is not worth the money. We did not stay here felt very uncomfortable & disgusted we got our money back & went to another hotel that was worth the money plus a little extra & all the amenities!!

Staying here currently for 3 more nights so far so good price was great and room didn't have the issues others have posted. Room was clean overall the only issue we noticed is cigarette holes in the bed cover other than that great.

The rooms have a disgusting, embedded smoke smell. Everything was sort of clean but ugly and deteriorated. The worst part of all was the smoke smell. I asked for a different room and the second room had the same nasty smell.

Room was clean and comfortable. Fireplace in the room was a nice addition. The guy at the from desk was very personable, friendly and very helpful. No complaints about this stay.

It’s an old hotel so don’t expect anything new. The room that I got is clean and couldn’t smell smoke and it’s worth for the money that we are paying. If you want cheap and best near niagara then this is the one.
