We recently hired Cortese Construction to build a master suite over our garage. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the results and the overall process. From start to finish, Dominic and the entire Cortese team were very responsive to our vision. The team demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and clearly committed to their work. Most impressive was their responsiveness to our requests. The crew was punctual, respectful and maintained a clean worksite which I greatly appreciated throughout the process. Cortese Construction Services was contracted to build a 3 season sunroom. We were immediately informed that there would be a one year delay due to their busy schedule. Since we had already interviewed several other contractors, we decided it would be worth the wait. We were not disappointed. The sunroom has exceeded our expectations.
Mike and Rick were pleasant to work with. I appreciated their clean cut appearance and polite friendliness. From the beginning, Nick Cortese listened to our requests and worked to make this dream come true. The quality of the building meets our needs perfectly. We are blessed with a spectacular location, but everyone who enters our home utters a “WOW”! at seeing the sunroom. It truly “makes” the house. Their expertise created the least amount of disruption to our yard and the whole process was completed in just 6 weeks. While not the cheapest option, we can highly recommend Cortese Construction Services.

I must say I am very disappointed in the quality of work I received for the amount of money I paid. Also so many change orders and the number they quote will not be realistic to what your final statement is and don't worry all that comes along when your to far along to switch. $331.92 to trim a door and landing and they glue it on! No nails just glue. Well done courtesy. I called them to remedy the situation and no return call.

Cortese did a complete master bathroom remodel at our home approximately ten years ago. We had constant water leaks and finally decided to remove the work Corstese did and replace the entire bathroom. Our contractor was shocked by the horrendously poor and negligent quality of the work. We even have had to replace exterior wall studs due to wood rot. Our contractor took numerous pictures to document the damage. Because too much time has elapsed we cannot pursue a legal claim against Cortese but we can at least warn other potential clients!

We've worked with Cortese on 3 projects, beginning with our bathroom remodel in 2018
We just finished our final project, total kitchen gut. We've been very happy with their work on all of our projects. They go above and beyond to be respectful of both you and your property. The last crew that worked here, Kevin and Dan, well we can't praise them enough. Kevin made sure to consult with us on many things, keeping us in the loop as things progressed. They treated our house as if they were working on their own. Thank you to Cortese Construction for making our vision come true.

We completed a kitchen, bedroom, and four bathroom remodels with Cortese Construction in 2021-2023, and have been very pleased with the results. The team did a great job following through on our vision, offering creative solutions when things didn't go as planned, and ensuring we are 100% satisfied with the work completed. We chose Cortese because they were the only general contractor we spoke with who were able to come up with a creative, out-of-the-box vision for our odd Elmwood Village Frankenstein-type primary bathroom. We would recommend and use Cortese again because of the dedication to quality and service we received from owner Domenic Cortese and project supervisor Craig Shields.

We had 2 bathroom renovations completed and laundry room renovation in 2023... We couldn't be happier with the results! It was wonderful to work with everyone @Cortese. Quality craftsmanship across board, respectful workers, area was cleaned up everyday...it was so nice to just go to 1 place to pick out my selections...It was so relaxing to walk in to the showroom and it really did feel like home!Thank you to Dominic, Michelle, Tyler, Craig, Tony and everyone who worked on our renovation

We needed two new doors one in the front and one in the back of the house plus the storm doors. There had been delays because of COVID but once the job was started it went well. There were some short delays but we were informed of all in a timely manner. Thank you to all. Joe D. kept me well informed and the doors have been great since. This was a smallish job but I am so glad I chose to have you do it! Thank you.
