Ordered 2 yds of nutrisoil for garden beds. The soil was filled with rocks as big as 1/2" - almost as if they forgot to wash out the truck from a previous gravel haul. I also found a 4" bent rusted nail in the nutrisoil. Ruined my garden beds. Had to scrape off and sift the top 2 inches of soil from my 5 raised beds, and then purchase more garden soil to layer on top so I could plant. Wasted an enormous amount of time and money. Will not be a return customer.

Decent prices, soil looks good until you start digging into it. I got the "Organic Nutrisoil" for some raised beds, and there was an astonishingly large amount of shredded plastic in the soil from one yard, especially considering the organic label. Maybe the other location is better

The customer service was good, the premium topsoil they delivered was not This is the worst excuse for topsoil that I have ever seen, an unworkable mixture of clay and gravel. It is not suitable for use on lawns or landscaping. Once it is spread it is very difficult to remove as it turns to solid clay. I had an identical experience 5years ago. There are many other suppliers in the area with superior products.

Absolutely terrible customer service. We ordered topsoil for $300 dollars, it was filled with stones, sticks and plastic. We called to complain and speak to the owner, we were told that the owner was there but couldn’t speak with us. We have called 3 times and still no call back. I’m so upset, this was extra money that we don’t have and now we have to fill with mulch.

Ordered 5 yds of what i thought was premium topsoil at $48.00/yd total cost ended up being $326.00 . Probably the 2nd worst load of topsoil I ever received. Lots of stone and sticks mixed in. When I saw the soil when i got home i thought it was just left over on top but not the case. Premium it was not. Got the soil in late may.I think their sifter wasn't functioning properly on this one.

I ordered 6 yards of Nurtisoil. It was delivered on April 26th 2023. I started using it that same day. I called them that day to ask why there was Glass, Rubber, Plastic in the soil. I was told to take a pic and send it to 716-908-5173, then wait till someone got back to me. Which no one did. I called again on May 4th and sent more pics of Rock, bricks clumps of black mulch the size of basketballs, and again more glass. Nobody bothered to respond. On May 23 rd. I called the office. The young lady told me she would look into it. I gave her my cell number so that they would know where to look for the pics. Still Here it is May 30th, and I have yet to receive any response. What do I have to do? Call my credit card company and file a dispute? That will be my next step this week. It's been over a month. I can't have my hands in this if there's glass in it.

Called for pricing. The person in the phone was very rude, and sounded annoyed by my questions, gave little to no explanation for the delivery fees. VERY overpriced

2 years ago I decided to build a raised bed vegetable garden. I reached out to Krantz to buy 3 cubic feet of soil. I looked at their website and saw the English Garden Loam conditioner. The website described it "as excellent for perennial and annual planting beds, vegetable gardens , tree and shrub growth." When I ordered it the person said that it didn't have the perlite in it (due to COVID) but was still an excellent choice. That year the garden grew fine. The next year as I was getting my garden ready for planting the soil was like clay, so hard and clumpy. I called Krantz to see what the deal was. The person on the phone(I think it was the same person I spoke with the year before) told me I bought the wrong stuff, that soil is ment to be clumpy and clay like. I told her their own website and the person I spoke to the year before said it would be perfect for a vegetable garden, she said no they didn't and there was nothing they could do. I'd have to buy more soil from them! I didn't, instead I tried to fix it with a lot of compost and perlite. Didn't work! My garden was terrible, nothing grew very well and the soil was like clay. So here I am on year 3 of gardening and considering dumping all 3 yards of this junk and starting over again. I will never buy from Krantz again... Totally bad customer service!!
