My wife and I went into this store tonight looking to upgrade two of our iPhones. We dealt with Paul who stood beside the manager Anthony and we were treated with nothing but absolute disrespect. From the second we arrived and told Paul what we were interested in doing, it felt as if he was trying to brush us off and talk us out of upgrading. I originally assumed it was because it was an hour before closing and he certainly didn’t seem like the go-getter type and probably just wanted to go home. Regardless of all the reasons he gave us to not upgrade, such as we still owed a little bit on our phones or that we won’t be given any promotional deals, we still wanted to go ahead and upgrade. Paul then went on to tell us that we were not eligible to upgrade our phones which my wife was quickly able to prove otherwise based on the information on our MyVerizon account which showed that 6 of our 8 devices were indeed eligible for upgrade. After that failed attempt, Paul went on to tell us that we have encountered yet another problem. That problem being that due to our credit, Verizon has our account flagged; which he would show no proof of and they will not allow us to pay monthly on new phones which we found very odd because of the number of devices on our account that we have been able to finance through Verizon over the past few years. Paul then went on to tell us that there is nothing he can do for us tonight and we will have to call Verizon financial. Being that it was one hour before closing, we left to call Verizon and get to the bottom of this. On the way out, I recommended to my wife that we try going to a Verizon reseller store that we have dealt with in the past and always had great luck with. We made it no further than the exit of the parking lot when Paul took it upon himself to text my wife’s phone from his personal cell phone questioning what was said when leaving the store and told her to not waste her time, gas or effort going to that store. I was at a loss for words considering how unbelievably unprofessional sending that text message was. My wife then called Verizon directly to try and get some sort of reasonable explanation as to why we could not finance our phones. To our surprise, were informed that no one had even checked our eligibility tonight and we were indeed eligible to upgrade and finance a significant amount of money. She also told Verizon about the experience we had at the store and about the text message she received shortly after leaving the store and the Verizon representative was shocked and appalled and recommended that we write a formal complaint to Verizon corporate which we fully intend on doing. Be aware of going into this store. We have never felt more disrespected and patronized by such a condescending employee of any company we’ve ever done business with.

Save yourself a trip. I tried calling 3 times to see if the reason I was going was actually going to help. Store number listed isn't even the actual number. They couldn't help me with what I wanted done and wanted $30 to do what I didn't want done. I thought this store would be better than a 3rd party store I had used before in the past but they couldn't/ wouldn't do anything to help. I wouldn't have been as upset if I could have confirmed this over the phone before I wasted a trip over but again the number dose nothing but forward you to an endless call tree ending in a person who has nothing to do with the store

Person we dealt with acted as if we were bothering him. Told him we were thinking of changing abd asked if they could offer a better price or senior discount, as we have seen one advertised. Said no and went back to his cell phone. Changed providers after 30 years. Smh

Went in with my mother to help her figure out why her bill was so outrageously high and spoke with Paul. He was very condescending towards my elderly mother and had a really bad attitude. He spoke to her like she was stupid. I really feel like she was taken advantage of when she added new plans and has bills from august until now that equal $1800. I’m appalled and disgusted with how she was treated and would like to hear from someone immediately. Nobody should walk away from a store feeling like she felt and especially an elderly person who is taken advantage of because she can’t do things online and making her feel stupid. We want out of Verizon and I will got to ATT or others where at least you’re treated like a human being.

Paul saved my life today. He saw potential danger (aka my mom and sister randomly showing up and jokingly rushing him) when I was already struggling with a phone lost to a puddle, and brought us both out the other end with smiles. Paul went above and beyond to make my life significantly better while keeping me laughing during the entire process. More people should be like Paul. Paul is the man.

Two bars and no service in this neighborhood. I have a connection to a tower, but there is no internet service behind it. $200+ a month, and so many places that Verizon does not have actual coverage in Syracuse.

I visited this location to initiate a switch from AT&T to Verizon and would strongly suggest others not to do the same. I worked primarily with Mike, and was offered a $200 courtesy credit in lieu of his team not being able to transfer a promotional offer that had been on my wife's account prior to joining my new account. I made my decision to join Verizon due to that credit being negotiated and agreed to. Upon review of my bill a few weeks later, I found that credit was never added, and the insurance that I declined while in store was still on my bill and was never removed. I told was told these issues would need to be resolved in store, and I could not be connected with Mike, or his management team over the phone - a massive inconvenience. When re-visiting the store, Manager, Justin contradicted and disagreed with my recollection of the conversation, indicating that a credit of $100 was promised, and that he had communicated that to me during my appointment. Neither are true. After connecting via text with Mike, he let me know that a $135 credit was communicated (also untrue). It's also worth noting that a $135 credit offer would be in violation of the maximum in store credit amount of $100 that Justin communicated to me only minutes earlier. Mistakes happen, I've made quite a few in my day. The reason for this review is in response to the unwillingness of the staff to apologize, and honor previously made agreements. I will not be back to this location, and am currently in communication with AT&T to return as a customer.

When I purchased 2 new phones in January they were helpful and friendly. One of the phones never worked right. After 4 weeks of working with Verizon Customer Service over the phone, they sent me back to the store to turn in the phone and get a refund. Horrible customer service from the moment I walked in the door! The manager,Anthony, actually said "I am the manager of this store, customer service is not my boss! If they want you to return the phone, they can send you a box"!! I've never been treated so poorly in a business before. Buyer beware!
