Very helpful and patient sales people with us and our 9 year old grandson - our grandson recently decided to be a collector of basketball cards and this was his first trip to a sports cardstore. Very pleasant experience.

Nostalgic. Went there 30 years ago, and it's still the same guy who runs it. Nice to see. Fair pricing, knowledgeable, and doesn't shove anything down your throat.

In the past six months, as an older adult I have recently gotten back into collecting after a good 20 years of being out of the hobby. I have gone into this store on several occasions and probably spent about $5000 at this point. I’m sure to some people that is not a lot of money. And that’s fine, to me It’s not really either except for the fact that I’m spending it on cardboard. That being said when I do go to make a purchase of any dollar amount, I expect to be treated as a customer with respect. Instead today I was told my friend was a liar because he made a mistake about a price he paid for a box of baseball cards. The arrogance of the sales associate that made the statement was disgusting. The shop is failing anyway as Mark is trying to sell it but employees like that on staff will certainly put this place out of business. I will certainly never shop there again.

I recently as an older adult have gotten back into collecting baseball cards in the past 6 months or so. There are not a lot of places in the Syracuse NY area to go for cards so I was happy to locate this one which typically has a great selection. I have spent about $5,000 in the past 6 months on baseball cards with this business. And unfortunately after todays events (last straw situation) I will never return. And today wasn't the only issue I've had but it's certainly the worst. Other than selling cards I ordered in with the owner specifically for me to purchase and he instead sold them to someone else when they came in, today I was highly insulted by an arrogant, rude, and disrespectful employee of the shop. He was clearly having a bad day as I've spoken with this employee at other times with no issues. I went in today to pick up a box of cards that my friend had just purchased on the same day. My friend told me he purchased the box for $209.00. No me seeing the box on the shelf for $229.00 I was confused which clearly came carton my reaction and voice when I expressed to the employee that my friend just bought that same box here today for $209. To which the rude employee replies "well he's lying"..... really? Straight to MY FRIEND IS A LIAR? Not "he must be mistaken (which by the way he was and I did clarify while in the store over text). But not only did the clerk not apologize but he instead acted arrogant about it and said that my friend again was lying while i was in the process of trying to find out from the friend if he had in fact made a mistake. I left the store without an apology despite my stating that my friend HAD made a mistake and misinformed me. Mark, the owner sat there like a deer in headlights while this arrogant individual continued to berate me friend who was not even there! I informed Mark that his associate just lost him a sale which I'm sure won't hurt him. But the 10k a year might. Make that $20k or more as my friend "THE LIAR" wont be returning there either. It is a shame as I said there are not many places with selection to go aside for this store. But I'll just stick to Topps.com and sports card connection online from now on.

This shop is everything that is wrong with the current state of the hobby. If you wonder why target and Walmart have such a bad selection come here and realize they are buying blasters and marking them up 3X. Even bought up all of the cards from DOLLAR TREE and marking them up to $3. Shame on you.

Staff was very nice, great selection. Pricing was fair with what you find on eBay for boxes. Wish I could have spent more time. Definitely come and check this place out and support the hobby!

This is my local card shop and it is the best. Great deals on boxes and they even do clearance deals. The only thing they could improve is more variety of individual cards

It's been my favorite place to get cards for the past 25 years or so.. The owner has always been there for the community. They have a huge selection of Pokémon, the prices are a lot cheaper than competitor's, and there's no silly limits. Come shop at a locally owned and operated business!

I love this place you can get older cards and new cards for a bit over retail but still a fair price. I wish they had a bigger selection of singles but it’s still a fun place to look around and get whatever product you have been looking for. The owner is a very nice guy and very helpful with making your selection of what you want. 10/10 would go to this place again.

I would personally like to thank the man I spoke to, when I first visited this store about a week and a half ago(I believe your name is Mark, from what I've read on here). Never have I been in a store so ready to help its customers. I've read some reviews of this place that suggest that the management is moody, or unreasonable, and that prices are gauged, and I absolutely could not disagree more. I was helped, and all of my questions were answered. The prices were extremely fair, and people should realize that small businesses need to make money too! Every single thing that could be used as an accessory for cards seems like it is given the lowest price possible which shows me that you actually care to help customers of various collections take care of their cards, which feels extremely welcoming, as someone who is new to the hobby. If you're reading this, do not skip on a visit to the best damn sports card store in the state of New York!
