I brought my Vizsla/Lab mix dog, Dolce, to Sit Means Sit Syracuse. I’m AMAZED at her progress in just a couple of weeks!! Not only is she a dream on a leash now, but she listens intently to my commands and happily complies. She’s a joy to be with and my confidence in our joint training has increased 100%. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable (Cameron worked closely with Dolce) and they have worked miracles with our pup! Many Thanks to Sit Means Sit Syracuse!!!Sandra Serafini Alciati

This experience has been so amazing! It’s like we have new dogs! Just after 1 session! We can not express enough how pleased we are with all your staff that has worked with Niklaus and Arya as stubborn as they are! We have been working with them at home after each all day session and it’s been amazing! My elderly parents came to visit and they were blown away by the difference in our dogs! We are so excited to continue working with you and your amazing staff!!! We have already referred so many of our friends to you !!!! Keep up the great work!!!

The training was worth every penny and more! After being spayed, our dog was showing obvious signs of aggression towards strangers and kids. Our trainer, Justin, helped us figure out that the aggression was based in fear, and trained both our dog and us on how to redirect the aggressive energy. We have so much more confidence in her now that she's been trained, and she is a much better behaved dog overall. We will continue to bring her to group training to reinforce the good behaviors, along with everyday training at home! Thank you, Justin!

Everyone at this facility has been extraordinary to work with! They care about our pup and have absolutely made an impact in our lives already with his training. Having a Great Dane, it is very important to me to have a well trained dog with how big he will get. After a ton of research, we decided to move forward with Sit Means Sit. Our Rex has an incredible foundation thanks to Cameron and his team!! We have done a couple drop off days and they send progress videos to show what they have worked on. Seeing what Rex learns in just a few hours of being dropped off is incredible to watch. In each video you can see him wagging his tail so you know he’s enjoying it too! This team has certainly mastered their craft and work hard to exceed expectations!

We brought our rescue 3.5 old lab/mastiff mix to Cam who did not disappoint! We had issues with pulling, walks, basic commands, guests coming into the house and as we prep for a baby on the way we needed solid training for us and our pup. After 3 sessions with Cam (and others at SMS), we have seen an awesome transformation. We were updated daily to know what Rocky was working on and how training was going. Cam made sure after every session to go through steps thoroughly and that we understood how to apply commands and continue training at home. We cannot recommend Sit Means Sit enough - Thank you!

Highly recommended, looking at the cost over the lifetime of our dog it is extremely worth it. The trainers instructed us as much as they did Jackson ? very helpful, knowledgeable and showed genuine concern and empathy for our situation and our furry family member!

Dave is amazing! He’s super attentive and takes the time to get to know you and your pup even during the inquiry meeting. He’s very thorough in explaining the process, different class options, and will suggest the best class based on your pup and lifestyle. During class, they truly worked magic! My dog is a border collie lab mix rescue who was just too smart and stubborn for your average positive reinforcement training, and it was a struggle to get him to understand boundaries, to play nice with our other animals and learn to control his impulses. Dave and his team created a new dog for us! The classes for us were incredibly helpful in giving over what was learned and allowing us to ensure we are executing commands effectively and correctly. Our dog has been amazing and seems so much happier now that he knows, and we know how to control him a lot better. Thank you so much Dave and Rachel, we and Finnegan appreciate all you do!

Cameron and the training staff were amazing with Nate. Cameron is very patient, thorough and explains each weeks lesson in detail. Nate has responded extremely well and will let Cameron pet him…this is huge for Nate, he doesn't let people touch him other than myself and my husband. Brittany worked with Nate too and she was amazing as well. She was the first trainer he worked with and worked on his focus and the collar. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit. Looking forward to the group classes.

Very professional. Even though you work with one trainer, the staff works together to create a range of other distractions while training. I also never felt rushed while the trainer was instructing me. There was always time for additional questions and practice. My puppy was 5 1/2 months old during training and was not pulling at the leash the first day of training. If you continue the training at home in between sessions. The progress is fast. I recommend!

We brought our pup Porter in at about 6 months old. This is our first puppy on a long time and while we were making progress, felt it was slowing as he grew. He immediately took to the training and is doing great. Right now we've completed 2 of the 3 sessions, and he's listening, is able to greet other dogs and people calmly, is a joy to take on a walk, and his recall has improved immensely. And the best part is he's still a happy playful puppy. Justin trains porter, but he also teaches us to integrate training into life and playtime so it's fully integrated. We purchased an agility set a couple months ago but couldn't use it - with the training he's (we've) had, we're excited to start using it for indoor playtime just in time for winter. Definitely worth the time to have a puppy and owner trained and in synch.
