“Called and talked to John. I told him what I was looking for. Asked him a few questions he answered all of my questions but one. He told me he would research for the answer and call me back. He called me back in several minutes with the answer. I drove there and He showed me what I was looking for and how much. I searched the web for such foam, but bemoaned the fact that I wouldn't get the personal attention that I needed. Presto--I got it with Mattress Makers of Syracuse and the price was lower too. “I had seen a sofa online that I was considering for a home in Florida. I went to Smith to see the sofa since they were the only retailer in upstate New York that sold the line of furniture I was interested in. I thought I would buy the sofa in Florida if I liked it. Instead I bought the sofa, a loveseat, a dining table and chairs all from Smith in Syracuse and had them ship everything to Florida. Kathy was so wonderful to work with, helping us choose fabric, arranging the shipping and keeping us in the loop through the months-long process. The shipping cost was very reasonable and the delivery company was great to work with. The furniture was delivered last week and we could not be happier with it.I highly recommend Smith Contemporary Furniture. The customer service is unbeatable and the shopping experience was wonderful - no pressure, great selection, etc. It was a much better experience than we had in the numerous stores we had been in before in search of a perfect sofa.”
