Very nice staff! I work next door...due to a ride situation I had to be dropped off at 4 in the morning (my job opens its doors at 7). It was too cold to wait outside for hours. The staff member let me stay in the dining area and even offered me the breakfast they served.I'm very thankful ?

We had a terrible experience staying here. Our room was on the second floor facing towards the interstate so the room was incredibly loud the entire stay. In addition to that, the elevator was right next to our room so we could hear other guests going up and down the stairs all night. Our room was sharing a wall with the maintenance room so the floor and wall in one side of the room was noticeably shaking from the vibrations the whole time. There is no ventilation in the room besides the AC unit and the windows do not open. The room was incredibly stuffy and smelled of lingering cleaning products, dampness and mold. If one of us took a shower, the steam from the shower would linger in the room making it even worse. The whole interior of the hotel needs serious updating. The carpet in our room was outright filthy and we would not walk on it without socks. The beds were okay. We stayed for 4 nights but did not sleep through any of them due to these inconveniences. We could not stand it anymore on our last night and checked out at 3am to go home. The parking situation is a nightmare. The only positive about our stay was one of the ladies working the front desk. I don’t know her name but she was very genuine and nice. The rest of the staff could not have cared less. On our fourth day we got our receipt with checkout that same day even though we had booked until Saturday. We had to fix the issue with the front desk at 6am on a Friday. We opted not to try the breakfast given the state of the room. Not coming back if we can help it.Nearby activities: Green Lakes State Park is about 25 minutes away with a beautiful walk around the lakes. The hike is about 3 miles and was breathtaking in the fall.

I have never met a nicer front desk clerk than i did the other day. So kind and understanding and accommodating on a day that i really needed help? Complete opposite experience as the day before next door at the Comfort Suites.

Service is extremely rude they will say your not a guest after just walking in the front door even if you are one while threatening to kick you out. The male employees are scums and will never be staying with a Holiday Inn

Making an online reservation should not be a crapshoot, but with 75 million sites to choose from, you really need to have some kind of degree to understand everything your getting into. That being said, if someone books, and pays, for an accessible room and the reservation is accepted, then if you can't accommodate upon arrival, a refund should be a non issue. This already is affecting me more than you, at least give me my money back.

Mixed feelings on this hotel. Sadly it was the best experience we've had in awhile in the area but there were still several things inconvenient with the hotel that together might prevent us from coming back+Welcoming and efficient front staff+Warm pool, even if we couldn't enjoy it long due to a mother throwing diving toys at our heads and covering her face after each time at her bad aim like a mime+Location close to several restaurants and diners+Good quality soaps and lotions from Dove+Clean bathroom+Spacious room+Decent breakfast choices+Firm and soft pillow per person, labeled-No outlets on one side of the bed, and the alarm clock outlet on the other side didn't work, even trying to flip switches on and off. The only way to charge your phone is to unplug the light, which we discovered too late at checkout-Inefficient blackout curtains behind the sheers that don't block light at all-Thin walls where you can hear the single elevator all night and children screamingSo clean and nice hotel, but you can't charge your phones or sleep in due to noise and light

Worst night I've ever spent in a hotel. TV didn't work. Front desk promised 3 times to send someone...never did. Toilet ran all night. Same deal. Loud....kids running around all night...Clerk refused to address it. Never again.Follow up:I must say....management was very good about my complaint...and did their best to make it right and make me happy...let's change 'never again' yo 'I'll give 'em another chance'.I added a couple stars.

This was just a stopover stay, to break up what would have been a very long drive. Out of all the 'budget' places we stayed, Holiday Inn comes out on top. They have the cleanest properties, the nicest rooms, and the best breakfast. This place was a little out of the way from what we wanted, but the price was right and the stay was enjoyable, albeit short.

Asked front desk for 2 rooms to be cleaned as we were out ALL day came back to only one clean. Lady helping with breakfast in morning was amazing. She was the highlight of the hotel

Visited Syracuse from Boston for graduation. Excellent experience with this hotel. Highly recommend. Staff was courteous and friendly. Rooms were clean with plenty of space. Breakfast was excellent too. Hot items, good coffee and muffins. They even had a make your own pancakes machine.Rooms: The room we got was very clean with a full size fridge, Kuerig coffee machine. Very spacious. Desk for work and "kitchen" table to eat on.Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast with hot options such as eggs, omelette, sausage, sausage patties, oatmeal, and then there's muffins and cookies. Good coffee too.

Arrived recently for a one night stay after a late flight arrival....**** note there is no shuttle service - I saw it was advertised as an airport hotel, but it is not and is not close to the airport ****Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was clean and comfortable, but the place is outdated and shabby as is the furniture and furnishings. In a somewhat isolated location off the highway.

This hotel did not disappoint! The continental breakfast was expansive and delicious; included fresh pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, a hot chocolate and coffee bar, oatmeal (with all the extras), and all the other items you'd expect at a "normal" hotel breakfast. (The breakfast attendant - Liza - was friendly, helpful and efficient.) The beds were very comfortable, the conference room was efficient for our evening meeting, and the pool was great for the kids. We paid $10 extra dollars for extra floor space, and we highly recommend that, if you have friends popping in and out, or want to eat in your room. There's also a full size fridge in the room, in case you're looking for a long-term stay. Highly recommend!
