Do not use M&T Bank. They reported a late payment on my credit report, which they acknowledged was a system error on this branch's end. Despite this, they refused to remove the late payment from my credit report. I had been a Manufacturers & Traders customer for over twenty years with a PERFECT payment history. I ultimately had to hire an attorney to remove the inaccurate information. Reading about M&T Bank on the Internet, inaccurate credit reporting and refusal to correct their errors seems to be alarming common for them. Transfer your money to a different bank in the area. M&T has terrible interest rates anyway.

I know people have written that this location does not offer customers service. As well that they scam you, by charging your account and not reimbursing the money and so on. I would like to say that I opened my account at this location about 6 months ago, and I am very pleased with my decision. One example of good customer service happened yesterday to me. I called up asking if I can get a money order, after the clerk looked up my account, she advised me that there will be a fee of $7 due to the type of account I have with them (I have the cheapest and basic account). Further more, the clerk advised me that the postal office charges only around $1 and change. So my conclusion is: they are here for there customers and making everyone happy.
