“This is a great addition to Bergen County. The staff were awesome, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable. The lounge area is warm inviting and comfortable. They have an offering of signature cocktails, I went with a classic old fashion. They nailed it. We ordered the hummus and a flat bread with porcini mushrooms and onion. If you are reading this you are interested in this place I can tell you it is worth it. Enjoy”

“this is my first visit to Gary’s. I loved the depth and breadth of their wine inventory. I really like South African wines and many wine shops either do not carry them at all, and if they do, have a very limited selection. Gary has a nice selection of South African wines as well as Italian wines, with the Italian wines featuring a lot of regions that most other wine shops do not. Kudos to Gary’s! Oh, and by the way, their wines are priced very fairly .”

“Each year, friends and I participate in an enthusiast road rally from the Tri-State area up through the Hudson Valley with my vintage BMW. This past year, that vehicle suffered a mechanical failure, forcing me to seek a safe, shady location off the road to wrench around and attempt to fix the issue. Whether by pure, dumb luck, or by some manner of divine intervention, I happened to pull into the Tuxedo Wine & Liquor parking lot.
As the locals came in and out, shooting a nervous smile or a raised eyebrow at the crazy guy covered in grime under the old Bimmer, I knew that I was in a safe space thanks to the kindness and warm nature of the proprietor. I knew it was kismet when my co-pilot was able to source a bottle of some extremely hard-to-find gin inside, and even brought out a six-pack of refreshing sodas that helped me wage battle against the sweltering engine.
We considered throwing in the towel, spending the rest of the day basking in the dappled sunlight, awaiting a support vehicle. Alas - the repair was a success, the engine spun strong, and we were back in the rally! As an expression of my gratitude, I have hence vowed to make a commemorative stop at Tuxedo Wine & Liquor each year of the event.”

“Such a great selection of spirits, including gins, of course the best wines, bourbons, specialty cocktails and much much more; a great atmosphere, and the friendliest and most knowledgeable helpers this side of Texas! Joe, Heidi, Stacey, and Michelle are there to give you the scoop on these spirits from across the globe, and most times will have an open bottle to sip and try for yourself. Numerous wine tastings (on Saturdays) and treats for your best friend are extra benefits. I never come away without a smile on my face and usually with my best new favorite spirit or wine in tow. I needed to find a bottle of Old Pappy VW - 10 year as a gift for my daughter's godfather who is battling ALS. He's both a military and law enforcement combat veteran, and loves the Old Pappy VW bourbon. Piermont Fine Wine and Spirits quickly secured a bottle for me at a great price!! “The best place about this place is the quick in and out factor. Will you pay an extra dollar or two more per bottle compared to Bottle King or Total Wine, yes. However, if you want to go inside and grab a bottle of something, grab a pizza from the new pizza place next store, and then go to the Giant Market, than you are all set. They do have your basic liquor brands, Tito's, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Captain Morgan, etc. They also have your basic beers.”

“A good location for both in store shopping and picking up online orders. The only issue with this place is its popularity around high drinking holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.). They do their best and sometimes even the local police show up to coordinate traffic in/out of the jammed parking lot. Pickups are done in a separate lot in back of the store and are pretty quick and convenient if you've ordered online.”
