I highly recommend Furniture Medic. We had some damage to a mid-century modern desk (the oil from pads underneath a desk accessory apparently seeped into the wood, leaving visible stains). We were unable to clean it ourselves. We called Furniture Medic and Arielle guided us expertly from start to finish. A technician came to our house to examine the desk and was able to remove the top and take it with him. He took one drawer so that they could match the color. It took them about a week to remove the stains and refinish, and it looks outstanding. The stains are gone, the top is refinished and it has probably never looked this good since it left the factory 70 or so years ago. I would prefer not to have to have more work done (!) but if I do I'll be comfortable contacting them. Thanks again.

Transformative is the word that comes to mind when I think of Furniture Medic by WoodLord Restoration's work. We had two pieces restored by them. The first was a damaged leather sofa with cat scratches, popped stitching, and paint from where movers forced it through a too-small door opening; they made it look new again, and the prior damage was undetectable. The second was my grandmother's coffee table, which had barely survived everyday use/abuse from my children. Similarly, they returned it to the state beauty. I would trust them with any piece of furniture, especially those with sentimental value.

Am so happy today because I am free from HPV simplex virus infection. I purchased a french louis XV Drexel Et Cetera writing desk from auction. After delivery and further inspection i noticed underneath the desk on the right hand side there had been damage to the desk structurally and it was separating from the joints also causing the draw on that side not fit properly and wobble. I also noticed that a terrible attempt at a repair was made. I notified the auction house and they notified the seller who said a repair was made "museum quality" by company whom repairs antiques for museums. I would like to mention it was clumps of yellow glue oozing out. I called furniture medic by woodlord restorations, an appointment was made to come to my home and do the repair which saved me the transfer fee to and from their office. The gentleman showed up promptly started the repair, i was shaking hearing the hammer taking a go at my desk.About two hours later i hear the gentleman say all done come and inspect please.. Great job, 4 and a half out of five because this is a vintage piece over 50 yrs old and i was told it was not going to be new underneath the desk a lot of damage was previously done. I would not have noticed the damage underneath if woodlord restorations had done the repair originally. The right side repaired looks 99 percent identical to the left un damaged side. I receive these emails from them a lot to do a review. I wanted to wait a couple of years to see if it last. it's been over two years now. I now own my own business selling antique and vintage furniture and if need be they"re my first call.

Furniture Medic performed a miracle! We have an old house with a old wooden door that had been neglected, covered in decades of stain and paint crew door was also damaged, missing some wooden appliqués that frame the center oval window.The amazing craftsmen at Furniture Medic restored the door in a way that exceeded my expectations. Great attention to detail, consistency and quality of workmanship are evident in the finished product. I am thrilled that we invested on this repair. The door makes me smile each time I look at it!

Furniture Medic renovated our (very) tired-looking bergere chairs so they now look just how they would have over 100 years ago! Arielle and her team really did a superb job and we could not be more pleased. I thoroughly recommend them to anyone reading this, they were thoroughly professional from beginning to end … and very nice people, too!

Furniture Medic did an OUTSTANDING RESTORATION and refinishing of our Scandinavian wood dining room table. A large and deep water mark--left by a hot cup on a white napkin that was placed on the table left a "permanent and very visible" mark. Daniel, the excellent furniture restorer, undertook the challenge of a complex refinishing project. The table, more than 20 years old, looks brand new. Kudos! and Thank You.

Furniture Medic did an OUTSTANDING job in restoring our Scandinavian wood dining room table. The table had been damaged by a large water mark--left when a hot cup placed on top of a white napkin was left on the table. The mark was large and very visible. Daniel, the excellent furniture restorer, accepted the challenge of a complex restoration. The results are EXCELLENT! Our table, more than 20 years old, looks brand new. I brought my furniture in for repair and when I picked it up it was further damaged by their technician. They argued with me trying to tell me that the damage was there beforehand. Steer clear of this place.
