The attitude in here is unbearable picking up your medicine is treated as if you’re interrupting them and they don’t seem to want to be bothered. Prior to coming here I Had been getting my prescription for years originally with no issues and was going to CVS and never had any issues. When I was forced to start picking up from Walgreens I realized the customer service is non existent. Every time I’ve been here I wait 20 plus minutes to even be looked at, when they finally decide to pay attention to you they stick their hand up in your face and tell you to wait. I placed my prescription over the phone and I was told it’ll be ready the next day meanless to say it wasn’t . It’s now the third time I’ve shown up to pick up my prescription and they claim it can’t be filled and then proceed to blame my DOCTOR. when I call my doctor and the insurance company everything is as it should be. So instead of admitting they made a mistake for the third time they roll their eyes in your face and give an attitude as if it’s not their problem and then proceed to tell me I’ll need to wait over 3 days to have the prescription filled even though they just claimed my prescription had issues and wasn’t able to be filled ???. I’m then told I can drive over an hour to Newburgh to pick up my prescription which I told them is not doable as I have a job and no time to go pick up something that should be ready at my local Walgreens. Really sick and tired of this place and will not be back as long as I can help it. I’d suggest doing mail order prescriptions to avoid this place and their lackluster “service”. Do yourself a favor and don’t give Walgreens your money or time

I went to supposedly to pick up my subscription I called it in …and I was told that it couldn’t be filled because of a in correction named spelled wrong, and they immediately said it was the insurance fault or the doctor…so I couldn’t get my script right then, until the next day and it was only half…filled…until I resolved it , I called the insurance A & B and both said it was exactly the way it was when I first signed up,…then it was the doctors fault, but there are always nasty …talk to much with customers about the right stuff other then what they are suppose to talk about…so this is not finished with the information I have to receive yet. There is one more I have to get info from…before it’s settled…they make a mistake they should fess up…and don’t be in a hurry to push the blame off…until next time…

Pros - Convenient location. actual brand name medication available Cons - A male Pharmacy Tech. there treats me like a criminal for using a discount card. I did not know I am supposed to pay Gucci prices for each bottle of medicine. They also may not hold your medicine for more than a few days even when you call an explain your sick. Hence why it was not already picked up. With how I am treated there, it would not surprise me if my medication was laced someday. Unprofessional.

Do better! At my fourth trip to Walgreens yesterday, at 8:56 pm, I rushed out of my job to get to Walgreens for a much needed prescription, stood there for several minutes and was never acknowledged. I left and am headed back this morning for hopefully the last time ever, to get my much needed script. Smh. Florida Pharmacy transferred customers to Walgreens who don’t take my daughters insurance and after calling everywhere, several Walgreens included, still hasn’t gotten her life sustaining prescription. Horrible, unhelpful and will never go back.

I am immunocompromised (I have IBD/UC). I have had 3 covid vaccinations and was recommended to get a booster now that it's been over 3 months since my last one as per the CDC Guidelines. I had to drive half an hour for my appointment to a Walgreens that had Moderna just to have them refuse me because I am "not over 50." They refused to believe I was immunocompromised even though they have on file records regarding my IBD and I filled out all the online paperwork regarding this prior to my appointment. I get prescriptions with my IBD medication through them as well. They KNOW I am immunocompromised. I asked if I could call my doctor so they could verify for me. They refused yet again, saying I needed a written or printed document from my doctor. So thanks for wasting my time, money, and compromising my health. Absolutely horrendous. Go f*** yourselves Chestser pharmacy

We made appointments for the 65 years and older flu vaccine for 10/24/21 at 4:00 pm and 4:45. We arrive at 3:55 and there were signs that the pharmacy was closing at 4pm 10/24. We went up to window and tech said yes they were closing and we had to reschedule. We were never called or texted about this. We drove 1/2 hour and like I noted we are senior citizen and they had both of our phone numbers and emails. Not happy.

We made appointments online today for COVID-19 booster shots and received email confirmation. We had to juggle a bunch of things in order to make these appointments. Arriving at Walgreens the required 15 minutes early with paperwork in hand, we saw the "vaccine appointment" window was closed and a sign stated the pharmacy was closing at 6 pm (appointments were for 5:40 and 6:20). The store manager cavalierly informed me all vax appts for today were cancelled. She insisted she had called us to cancel though I assured her we had received no such calls. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and COMPLETE DISHONESTY. If you are thinking of going to Walgreens for any vaccines- STOP, TURN AROUND and GO ELSEWHERE!!

Made me wait 20 minutes before talking to me in the drive-thru lane. Then told me I was in the wrong lane to pick up my prescription (No signage indicating that). Then made me wait another 20 minutes behind someone that showed up 15 minutes after me.

While the pharmacist is nice, nice doesn't get me my prescription in a timely manner. It doesn't help that the pharma staff tells you to come back in 30 so they can leave. Then of course the next staff tells you the same nonsense. Corporate needs to pay attention.I'm happy to be first to tell them.

They don't seem to like answering the phone. Waited over an hour then called the store manager who finally got me through. I understand they are busy and maybe short handed but to totally ignore the phone just wrong

Walgreens in chester wouldn’t accept a return with a receipt because it was purchased at a different store. This will be the last time I shop at Walgreens

What a Crap Show! I usually love Walgreens since it's part of the NYC Duane Reade family of stores but boy was my visit to this place a complete disaster! First off let's be real, the bread and butter of these big box pharmacies is in fact the pharmacy. We don't come here for the butter but for our much needed drugs to heal those ailments we have. I came visited for a simple flu shot and arrived with 2 people in line at the pharmacy. Pharmacist was flustered, frustrated and even barked at two of us that were there for the flu shot that she's too busy and we may have to wait upwards of an hour! Whoa!! Why have us make an appointment in advance only to say you don't have the time for us!?! The line did start to get large from the point I arrived and when I finally got my flu shot I was a bit concerned the pharmacist was so frustrated with her job that she might inadvertently give me another Covid shot because someone arrived after me for exactly that. I had to ask, "I'm here for the flu shot, that's what you got in your hand right!?" If there's a mom and pop small pharmacy in the area I completely encourage supporting that local small business because these big box pharmacies while they have a place in our world sadly it can be a mixed experience.

The staff, while it may not be their fault; are overworked and way too busy to even help you on the phone. There is at most two pharmacy staff, on a rare day 3, and it will take you ages to get any sort of help. Once you do get help, they don't know what they're doing, having issues filling requests. I can't tell if they're lying maliciously or blatantly inept but on multiple occasions they will say something is ready only to not have it once you arrive. It could be on anything from cough medicine to insulin. These issues are not just plaguing the pharmacy, god forbid you want to buy a item from the front register. There is usually only one person on staff there, and one very specific employee can cause a literal 9 minute wait of 4 to 5 people just wanting to ring up one to five items. The freezer / fridge section of drinks is barely cold and breaks often, so if you want to get milk you may be out of luck. Walgreens taking over this location has really run the store into the dirt.

Tried to reach pharmacy 3 times on Saturday 06/05/2021. I was placed on hold for 1 hour 5 minutes cumulative for those 3 calls without getting through. I called back on Monday. On hold for 18 minutes. I am done.
