A friend invited me to workout with her at STS while I was spending a month on vacation in the area. The workouts are great and I ended up attending 3-5 classes every week. There is a lot of variety in the exercises between cardio, weights and body weight training. The owner and trainer, Tom, is explains the exercises well and I loved the sense of community at the gym. After a year into my STS journey, I can confidently say this gym has everything you need: strength training, HIIT, circuit and aerobic workouts – all w/o the fear and intimidation of CrossFit or the boredom that comes with open gyms.Tommy is by far the most knowledgeable fitness coach I’ve encountered, never missing the nutrition component as well. The class format provides group motivation (and fun!) while still letting you work on your individualized goals.As someone who has always worked out – STS has truly changed the way I look at overall wellness and what it means to have a healthy lifestyle.

I've been going 3-5 times a week for a year and I can't recommend Sobotor enough. I'm visibly stronger and leaner and every time I go, I feel fantastic for the rest of the day. Tom is super easy going and encouraging - he meets people at whatever they are at and builds from there. He is also fitness savant - incredibly knowledgeable about physiology and remembers the goals and abilities of every single person in class. The community is also amazing - funny, nice people in all classes. If you've been wanting to go to the gym or have tried and not been able to keep it up, this is the place. Pick a time slot and show up - within a month you'll be hooked. Do it!

From the couch to the podium! Whether you're looking for over-all health and fitness or you have specific athletic (or wedding-ready) goals in mind, Tom can get you there. As a former national champion racer (I say this to make a point, not as bravado) I can assure anyone who spends a few days with Tom, he can do what no trainer can do. Nor does he charge trainer prices. Yes, the first week you will hate him. Loathe him. Curse him. But by week four of attending his group sessions you will admire him. Thank him. Trust him. His deep well of science knowledge and his ability to treat each member as an individual with unique goals and challenges ensures you make Tom part of your everyday routine. Having spent huge sums of money on training in my previous racing life, I can honestly say I have taken away more from Tom's brain than the handful of "trainers" who worked with me for a decade. I have managed to pass along enough praises to get those around me to join, including my wife, coworker, sister in law, brother in law and my kid's friend's parents. All of them hated me for those first weeks. I said, "Blame Tom!"And now they can't imagine a day without STS. In fact, next month my three children will start working with Tom to improve balance and safety protocols for something as basic as rec sports. Finally worth noting, I've never asked for or have expected a discount for referring friends and family. Because I feel it's my duty to turn people on to something that will have a positive, life-long impact!

STS is the highlight of my day! Not many gym coaches are capable of fostering an atmosphere where its clients feel comfortable, yet challenged - but Tom has mastered it! STS is a fun, friendly environment to push yourself physically. Tom’s love of the science of muscle development (I’m sure there’s a shorter way to say that ha) ensures everyone is pushing themselves effectively without risk of harming themselves. This place is a gem!

Just what we were looking for!! Great for both mental and physical health..... A mix of strength training and cardio! Tom is motivational and supportive of all fitness levels. He provides variety in his daily routines which keeps the workouts fun and interesting! My daughters and I have learned so much through his workouts and are seeing the results of hard work.

I've worked out at a lot of different gyms, and STS is one of the best. The atmosphere is inclusive and fun. The workouts are structured and challenging. Tom is extremely knowledgeable in his programming and nothing is ever boring!

For years I’ve been going to the local gym, I could never stick with it, I always needed that extra push. I’m overweight, eating habits aren’t healthy and I could definitely see it taking a toll on my body. Few months ago I decided to do a trial week at STS. From the second I walked in the door, Tom made me feel like I belonged there. Although classes are done in a group setting Tom still finds a way to make sure he’s paying attention to everyone participating. Joining STS was honestly the best decision of my life. I’ve only been there a few months but I can honestly see slow improvements and it’s rewarding. If you’re looking to make a change for the better but just need that extra push, support and motivation…STS is the place for you. Also, don’t let the fear of not being on the same level as other people stop you from trying it out. Tom sets up routines that accommodate each person individually to their skill level, he truly takes the time to work with you and make sure you’re doing what’s best for your body!

I have been training with STS for a few years now. Tom and team are very knowledgable and the workouts are excellent. Top notch programming and facility. I have been using the digital platform these days since all gyms are closed and feel like I haven't missed a beat. App is super easy to use and all questions get answered quickly by Tom right through the App. I highly reccomend STS

I’m not an athlete or a person who works out regularly so it’s not easy to walk into a gym and get it done. It can be intimidating for many reasons. The thought of trying to keep up with everyone and knowing that you can’t keep up makes it hard to even want to step foot in a gym. A member of STS convinced me to give it a try so I did. And I’m so happy that I listened to her. It’s soooo good. I felt welcomed from the start. Tom is awesome and so are all of the members that I have met so far. Everyone is so encouraging and willing to help out. The workouts are actually fun! Anyone who reads this and is hesitant to join, just try it. I promise you won’t regret it. You won’t feel weird or out of place. It’s really a nice place to spend a little part of your day.

I’ve been a client at Sobotor Training Systems for just over a year now. I have never experienced personal physical growth the way I have under the instruction of Thomas Sobotor! I highly recommend STS to anyone, all fitness levels, whatever your personal goals are Tom will see to it that your needs are met in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. I trust Tom and his knowledge of proper body mechanics & personal training, he continues to grow and teach us something new everyday, I’m so grateful for this gym!!! I’ve met awesome new friends too!! Making that call was the best thing I have ever done for myself & my personal well being!
