Do not use them. After 5 plus years of their terrible service, I'm absolutely done with them. Employees have come and gone and yet their service remains slow and unprofessional. Time to try another place.

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. Very rude and uncaring staff. Takes hours to over a day to get a prescription filled. Do NOT get your prescriptions here.

So awesome that they are retail store and can open later than posted times, close early, and still get their lunch. Would never survive a corporate world schedule.

Horrible pharmacy. They don’t alert you when there isn’t a medication in stock causing me to waste my time on many occasions. The older lady who works there (I also seen her work at the front too) is absolutely rude. Definitely not a people person at all. Why are you so rude at 9am? —overall worst pharmacy around.

CVS likes to send me coupons but there is not one near me. When passing through Orange County, this location is right off the Chester exit and I can go in get what I need and get back on the highway. This store has a lot of inventory when it comes to food and snacks. I like to use the self check out because I can get my item and get out fast.

This is by far the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I had a surgery on Wednesday morning at around 8 am. The doctor sent in my prescription for pain medicine at approximately 11am after I was discharged. I did not go pick up the medication until 7PM where I was told they did not have the medication I needed and in those 8 hours, they did not attempt to contact me or my doctor to let them know I would need to get something else prescribed. I was in excruciating pain and they offered no solutions. At that point the office was closed so I had to play phone tag with the on call doctor that knew nothing about my case. The doctor finally called me back after 35 minutes of sitting in this CVS and he asked me to ask the pharmacist what medications they did have in stock so he could prescribe me something they had. Mind you I could barely speak without getting lightheaded at this point because the pain was so bad. I asked the pharmacist and he said he could not tell me that information and the doctor had to call the pharmacy directly. The doctor even offered to speak to him on my phone so we could speed up the process rather than make me continue to suffer and he still refused. After the doctor finally got through the ridiculous automated system after another 15 minutes, I was forced to wait until around 8:30 before I was able to leave their with my medication. Again, this doctor knew nothing about my case so he prescribed me an extremely low dose pain killer that virtually did nothing for me as I am 6’2 220 lbs. I called my doctor first thing the next morning so she could send in a more effective prescription. I was alerted it would not be ready until 5:55pm. At 5:50 I get in my car and drive my broken body to the CVS where I find their drive-thru closed way before they closed at 9. I go inside for them to tell me they also did not have that medication and there was nothing they could do for me again. These experiences have been atrocious and I will never be using this pharmacy that I have been going to for more than 15 years again if I can help it. Terrible customer service, poor communication with me, and poor communication with my health care provider. 3 days later and I have yet to hear from them regarding this issue.

I've used the pharmacy for years. Always a wait, and the employees look miserable every single time. Horribly understaffed I presume. Maybe don't fill prescriptions simply because I had it filled one time. The pharmacy systems need a massive overhaul.

The pharmacy in particular is understaffed. Maybe pay educated employees enough to retain them.I feel terrible for the people who work here. Pull it together, CVS. Time to go back to the independent pharmacies—they never make you wait!?

CVS of Chester Brookside first is full of liars, including the manager and all of the older women that work at the registers. They lied about having gotten hand sanitizer/alcohol. etc. delivered during pandemic, lied about what time it would be available and would run out. I explained to a customer that the truck had already come and left before 8am, I saw it. That for weeks now one every thursday they tell customers the items won't be shelved until about noon, however, they are given to employees first, then they run out prior to noon every thursday. So I was going to wait till they brought it out. Then the female manager with long light brown hair, proceeded to call cops and told them that I was harassing a customer, they told me I had to leave store based on lies! I then sent my husband 10 minutes later, and as I said they were handing out the sanitizer to employees first, then my husband listened to the two old cashiers with short bleach blond hair and the manager conspire to lie, so that if I made a formal complaint, they would all lie to have eachother's backs and make me the wrong one! They are all miserable and hate their jobs, they should all be fired, including the manager. It is illegal to make a false police report against someone!! And CVS is a Price Gouger!! They have been found guilty of it in the past, so safe your receipts and register any complaints on the website for price gouging. I filed a complaint about the lies and treatment, Had a receipt to prove they lied about having the antibacterial sanitzer, and the corporate office never responded!! CVS is a horrible, dishonest company that allows it's employees to get away with breaking the law and harassing customers, especially chester, NY location......don't go there!! Pharmacist is just as bad!! She illegally discriminates against mental health patients!! She purposely fills scripts a day early, I never pick them up early, always on 30th day! But, she still will play games and hold script till 31st day just to mess with a mental health patient that has a controlled substance. She is causing people with issues to have more problems, mental distress and physical sickness, from not having their medications when they are due. I am not the only person she has done this to, there have been formal complaints filed against her for doing these things to different mental health patients, with different controlled meds, with MVP insurance and Infinity Insurance. She even purposely destroyed the image of my script on the 30th day at 9:00 am so I would have to worry if my doctor was able to get a new script sent over before they closed and might go sick without my meds when they were due for use before they opened on the next day, the 31st day. CVS is liable for discrimation against mental health and disabled patients due to her actions!! Yet, we should be held to law/regulations and find another pharmacy if we have a problem. She is the problem and should be fired!!! She should be held to the highest standard of the law, she is the licensed paid professional!! Patients should not be allowed to be discriminated against by pharmacist, or have to find another pharmacy!! This is a pattern with this pharmacist. We should all get together and sue CVS for discrimination against mental health/disabled patients. This pharmacist, the manager and all the old lady miserable cashiers should be fired!!! This whole Chester CVS needs an overhaul of employees, they are all dishonest, discriminating, miserable, and they are all liable both criminally and under civil laws. Please make sure to file complaints formally against this pharmacist. The only female licensed pharmacist at this Chester location, Audra or Audrey? CVS needs to fire all of them, they are liars, they are horrible racist and discriminate against the ill and disabled. CVS Should be sued by class action, Fire them already!!!

The pharmacy is not included in this review as they are always pleasant, courteous and professional. As far as some of the front-end older women, they need to get new jobs that they like! They typically act miserable and are unfriendly and sure don't make the customer feel welcomed in my opinion.

HORRIBLE system for refilling RX’s. When you don’t want auto-refill, their system signs you up and keeps sending text messages. When you call to use the system for refilling, you used to be able to specify a date and time that would fit your schedule. Now the system just dictates when it will be ready. You have to make another call when the pharmacy is open, which is not when it is convenient for the individual. CVS is not concerned about the customer unless it fits into their system. Do some BETA testing on your refill process by people NOT in corporate who thought of the idea so they see nothing wrong with it.
