I bought a bus ticket on the app for $10. Then the driver scanned it, and the ticket disappeared. I was told I needed to buy a new ticket. I called the company and after waiting the lady I spoke to was unhelpful and told me to call back some other time they were less busy. She said no refund policy over 10 times. Even though my money was stolen.

Coach Bus has the worst customer service ever. If your bus breaks down, like the 5:10pm to Monticello did last night, there is zero communication and if you try to track someone down for help - they are always nasty. It must be nice running a monopoly.

I very rarely take this bus to visit my son. With that said, I recently decided to take the bus ride to visit him upstate, and I accidentally got on the wrong bus. My bus driver went out of her way to make sure I got to where I was going, and I truly appreciated it. The service she provided was impeccable! She told me her name, but unfortunately, my memory is not what it used to be. I'm not sure if it was Jessica or Jennifer, but I wanted to say thank you for making sure I arrived at my son's house safely!

I can hardly find words to express my frustration verging on disgust with Shortline. The staff is rude and unprofessional. The buses are old and dirty. Schedules and signage at stations? Does not exist or is unreliable. Passenger behavior on board is frequently out of control with loud cell phone conversations. While it appears to be against their policy, the drivers don't enforce it. It is too bad this company doesn't have any competition on the local market. I would be the first to jump ship. Wish nj transit service would be more frequent and faster.
