What a random antique shop. It sits on the corner of Main Street and Academy Ave in Chester, coming away from the main drag on Brookside Ave. The building itself is very nice but old, and the owner chose it specifically because he was an architect and loves the structure. The store is large and a little dirty, but most good antique shops are. It is also the only of its kind I've found around here, as most other stores are smaller and craft-oriented. You just have to watch out for the hours: they're only open Saturday and Sunday from 12-5pm. Inside you can find everything from tables and chairs, old glassware, cookware, religious items, pottery, cobalt glass, statues, and endless other items. The variety is great, and ranges from both large to small items. They can have some weird stuff too, like a flask made with a cow's hoof--okay maybe that is the weirdest I've seen. The owner is a great guy who is fair on prices; the woman who works with him is nice, but a bit annoying. Regardless, I like the place a lot and have done well buying Christmas and birthday gift here. If you like this stuff and live nearby, I'd recommend stopping in!
