I’ve been here twice and Charle-Pan was so helpful and knowledgeable. She is more than willing to spend as much time as you need picking out and exploring her 50+ varieties of gorgeous lilacs. She showed us her perfumery and greenhouse and let us smell all her amazing scents. She remembered us from the last time we had visited and was so happy to hear about our success. Charle-Pan’s love of her plants is obvious and makes the experience all the more enjoyable. She taught us about her trimmings and transplants and makes me want to have a lilac orchard of my own. We’ll be looking into her DIY perfume kit online and in-person classes as well. It would very special, once-in-a-lifetime gift to anyone who loves lilacs.

Amazing lilac farm with SO many heirloom varieties. I love this place! Just make sure you make an appointment. They are a small family farm and require reservations (because they aren’t always home) The lilac perfume is to die for!!! Best time to visit is when lilacs are in full bloom (May/June). It’s like a flower wonderland :)

This is the home of authentic lilac enfleurage, carefully grown and masterfully harvest for the best scent possible. You can also buy a wide variety of lilac plants and visit the historic garden. This is an a great place to taken in everything about lilacs!

We had a wonderful visit! The owner was so welcoming and showed my kids her chemistry lab where she makes the lilac oil and perfume. It was so interesting. I can’t wait for my new plants to bloom. Thanks!

What a wonderful collection of Lilacs at Cherry Valley Lilacs - second only (in NY) to Highland Park in Rochester. With over 150 varieties of lilacs, this is truly impressive! They also offer educational experiences where you can learn about the ancient method of extraction known as Enfleurage.
