Remote location in a pretty setting. Lots of RULES! Mostly seasonal RV clients complete with their own landscaping. Lots of exterior LED lighting on RVs making it look like a city at night. Constant golf cart traffic/noise all day long. Many amenities, many not very functional, many at an added cost. Dated physical facilities. Not a wilderness experience. Have no interest in returning.

This is a beautiful, well maintained campground located in lovely Cherry Valley. The owner is about as nice a man as you can find! He went out of his way to help us on our vacation and we were touched by his kindness. I highly recommend this campground!

We had a great time with our family. We plan on going back for 2021 and hopefully there is a lot more for activities going on. The golf course & boat rentals is a plus.

We are getting ready to enjoy our 3rd season here. When we purchased the camp we didn't think that we were going to have the great time like we have the last 2 summers. They have activities for both adults and the kids. The activities include dances with a band, bingo, a carnival, ice cream social, a smoke off,, fishing derby, etc. They celebrate holidays like Easter, Christmas in July, Halloween, etc.. This is a very family oriented campground. They have dances, fireworks on the 4th of July. They also allows us to do a movie night for the kids. They have a lake we're you can go swimming and they also allow boating (no gas motors though). You can fish (catch and release) and we have caught some really cool and big fish. They have a mini golf course and another 9 or 11 hole golf course. I believe it is the only campground in Upstate New York that has the actual golf course. They also do a glow in the dark golfing activity.
We just love it there and our grandkids have made long lasting friendship. We wouldnt want to go to any place else for a seasonal site.

Belvedere Lake is my place of serenity. Our seasonal camp there is our happy place. From the beautiful scenery, abundant activities to the people. A seasonal since 2014, we could not have found a better fit for our family. My husband enjoys the golf course, our 11 year old has built lifelong friendships and I have found my second home.

We love taking our young grand-daughter here each year. She enjoys seeing the goats, chickens and Bunny's. They even had Peacocks past years. (I hope they are able to get some more) Many great photo ops and although closed do to COVID regulations this year. The rest rooms have always been clean. Residents and staff are always friendly and welcoming.

A mixed bag. The staff is friendly, the lake/beach area can be fun. There's other amenities we didnt have time to enjoy unfortunately. $0.50 for 5 min of shower time which are located a friendly distance for RV camping only. The booking had a snafu with a 2 month delay in response but it was ultimately worked out. My biggest issue is we stayed at the tent sites which was not what we expected. The sites are on what appears to be an old service road all lined up. You're supposed to park up the hill and carry all your stuff down a steep non maintained hill. $35 for a tent site with no hookups is expensive.....look at state park rates. Mowing of the lawn started at 7:54am . The RV sites are crammed together like there's no tomorrow in a field. There's also wild packs of golf carts that will keep you on your heels. The convenience store is great....if you forgot anything they most likely have it. Overall, not a bad place....have just camped at too many other places that offer a greater site experience for less.
